Because accepting Jesus as lord and savior would then be accepting Jesus being sacrificed for you. If you do not believe this, then i'd say get to sacrificing some nice cows.

how could Jesus have sacrifice anything if he didn't die ...the guy was seen walking around three days later ..so where's the sacrifice

And outside of my previous post on this. Jesus sacrificed himself to go through the pain of the crucifixion. The humiliation, the physical pain, and the bleeding till his mortal body just passed away, can you even contemplate what kind of pain that would be?

That is because Jesus is the judge of our souls. That's who we'll have to face after we pass away from this mortal life, Jesus.

Jesus or anyone can judge your soul ....but it is God that you have to face on judgement day not Jesus

lol ok you just believe that. But still regardless of that, we do not "WORSHIP" the cross. We worship God.

the commandment didn't say that it has to be worship...it states do not have any carved images that has likeness of anything in Heaven ... and if as you said that a cross represent Christ in memorial...then that is what makes a cross a graven image

We have no graven images of God, nor any carved mimages, or anything nor do we worship the memorabilia we have of Jesus.

Nobody but Jesus can judge our souls. No one else can judge you to go to heaven or to perish. Only Jesus has that power.

No i'm not saying that at all. Jesus spoke in parables so we could relate it to ourselves easier and could get a better perspective of what he was saying.

Cowboy...parables are a form of trickery.....how many people in your life speak in parables everytime they talk to you? ...

John 5:

For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

How in any way could it be trickery? Give me one parable for an example to this claim, and explain how it could be trickery.

The crucifixion was only part of his sacrifice. Jesus gave his ENTIRE life to teaching us of the law. He didn't marry, didn't have kids, didn't do anything but give us the knowledge to get into heaven.

jeez...you make me sound like Jesus ...I gave my entire life teaching you heathens the laws and how to get to Heaven...I never married and I have no rug rats ....so am I also divine

as I said ...since Jesus did not die then Jesus made no sacrifices

You go to work, you can't tell me this is all you do on the computer, you have family and friends that you spend time with. So how are you comparing your life with Jesus' in any way?

you keep trying to use the word "worship" ...to break the 1st commandment all you have to do is use the cross as a symbol/carved image of that which is in Heaven

Lol you referenced one sacrifice I said and you ask for more when there right there. And besides that, Jesus didn't "have" to take a mortal body to feel the pain and suffering he did when he was crucified. Again that was some part of the sacrifice he made. Other then not living his life for himself, but completely and entirely for the better of the world, for you and I. Even when he knew people like you would totally disregard what he did, and even deny his existence. He still willing went through with sacrificing his life for you and others of similar beliefs.

If you don't remember, Jesus was crucified here on earth, thus resulting in it's not any image of anything in heaven.

if the truth is not literal...then it's a lie .....if Jesus told someone that the bread was his flesh and it wasn't...then that is an example of Jesus lying or askewing from the truth aka "trickery"

I didn't take anything.

Nottice the "has committed all judgement to the son.

you should provide a quote from "God himself" that states that he gives final judgement to Jesus...if not...then it's another example of you placing Jesus before God

So you saying when someone says it's ice cold outside they are lieing? Because it obviously isn't "ice" cold, or they would get hypothermia.

That right there is all a parable is. It's relating it to something we understand and know so that we'll understand the full meaning of what they are talking about.
