---------------------------- 10 Then the disciples came and said to him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?" 11 And he answered them, "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. 12 For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 13 This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. ---------------------------- ============================== 11 And he answered them, "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. =============================== Notice Jesus saying that the desciples already understood what heaven was about and how to enter into heaven, they didn't need something to be able to relate it to so that they will understand, they ALREADY understood. So there was no need to speak in parables to them. Cowboy...aren't you proving my point...if Jesus had no need to speak to his disciples using parables...then when he told them that they will be eating his flesh and drinking his blood....then he was speaking in truth ... But this isn't exactly a parable, it's a simile. Parables are entire stories to explain something, this was one simple statement making it a simile. |

Vampires fear the cross because the cross is a holy symbol and vampires are evil. They murder innocent people, they do lots of evil things of such. Same would go with holy water, because it's blessed by God, and vampires are evil. if the disciples of Jesus practice the drinking of Jesus's blood ...then they were vampires ....and wouldn't that also include everyone that participated in communion It was a parable my friend a parable. Jesus said specifically this "WINE" is my blood and this "BREAD" is my body. He did not say we'll drink my blood as it was wine or anything of such. Cowboy...Jesus didn't speak in parables to his disciples ...but anyway sitting at a table telling your friends that the bread that they will be eating is your flesh and the wine that they will be drinking is your blood makes for a strange conversation no matter if it was a parable or the truth Not in a lovey dovey compassionate way it doesn't. Goes along with that saying "There's a part of you in everything i do". So you're gonna tell me that this statement is referring to cannibalism? It's called a metaphor my friend, a metaphor. |

funchees, the delusion is all yours... Attention is free, but you have none. I guess glasses weren't free either, or the ones you have are worthless. Tell your delusional mind to look back at the first post of yours in this thread that I quoted. Then tell your delusional mind to re-read the discussion between Cowboy and youself. Then take your delusion logic and try to apply it to what you read. Peter_Pan...I've asked you to provide the quote which I specifically stated that paganism is Christianity ....if you can not do that....then move on ...because you're acting delusional LOL, how "entitled" do you think you are? I asked you to answer my question and you failed misserably. You read it, you deny it, and expect me to re-post it again? The facts are there, you even supported them in your discussion between yourself and Cowboy. I'm not the Welfare office, just because you can't afford to pay attention doesn't mean I'm going to give you a voucher for it. "So answer me, why do you think paganism is Christianity?" or "Why do you think Christianity is a form of paganism?" I predict more denial, and some lame off-tangent rant about this being "personal". |

Yes Jesus didn't speak in parables to his disciples, but he used metaphors to explain things. why you change from using the term parables to using the word metaphors ....but anyway Jesus spoke to the masses in parables/metaphors because he felt that they were idiots and he was not oging to reveal to the masses the same things that he reveal to his disciples which is why he spoke to them in truth pertaining to cannibal and Vampirism... |

LOL, how "entitled" do you think you are? Peter_Pan.....Jesus and I are one Is Liberace one too??? nope...because then that would make you one I understand you have nothing, your lack of attention addressing the question proves that fact. You said it, now answer to it or admit you're full of useless delusions of grandeur. "Why do you think Christianity is a form of paganism?" Seriously, check-mate. If you answer, I'll prove you're full of it. If you don't answer, you'll prove yourself full of it and I'll be here to point that fact out... |
