if God commanded people to kill why would if make a different if it was in the Old Testament ... but anyway heres something from the New Testament that indicate that Jesus was no different than his father

cool....I knew you would say that...especially since Jesus only talked in parables...which means according to you when Jesus claimed in a PARABLE that he was the son of God...he's not really the son of God....it was only a parable ....

God's people accepted a deal to be his people, his way. In a people who are to be perfect or the best among the peoples of the Earth....laws must be in place and punishments.....or they are no better than heathens and pagans.

Example in kind: A glass company makes perfect glassware. It has the high rank of perfection among all companys. There are and will be flawed glassware made......it is destroyed at once or later to preserve the perfection of their glassware. If flawed glassware was allowed then the rank of the company would fall to that of dime store glassware.
The people of God were to be a perfect people. They were to serve as teachers and example to all the peoples of the Earth. But those who did not obey could not be allowed or the great nation to better all kind would be as the heathens and pagans. And in spite of God's efforts......they and we have done so......lawlessness rules not the way.
With thought some here can understand more than they allow themselves to understand. place yourself as a ruler of a people who will not do that which is best for them after making you ruler. They murder, rape, steal, ....etc. Some think the we being more kind then God will put them in prison and not kill them........look at our system of prisons.....we can not control them inside or out. The prisons are full and killer and rapist are let out to make room for others. They then go forth and kill and rape......laws without punishment is no law at all. Lawlessness is in control of our world......NOW!

One must understand that God is merciful. Those who died....die of this life a short time....but makes a way of forever to those who obey...even of those killed to make perfect a nation. During the second resurrection those killed are allowed knowledge and actions without the influence of Satan.....then Satan is let loose a short season. There is lot many need to understand to be able to make a full judgement.

Yeh, killing is cold blooded and done without feeling, like in genocide and war. The victims are not considered 'human' they are simply the enemy. Killing is collateral damage, or "by accident."

I personally would rather be murdered for a reason, than the victim of a cold blooded killing machine like a robotic terminator.

One is not more forgivable than the other in my opinion.

No one is better then anyone, we are all equal. We are not to judge anyone, we will all be judged accordingly by Jesus.

Murder is to plan and lay in wait to kill for advantage or gain. Some War is murder. So is turning one from the faith.

Killing is when one must protect life or a way of life.....else is murder! When one is condemed to death.....to kill even under command is not murder. In war some protect life and the way of life.

I do not want to be like the nominal so called Christians. They are not God's people. They follow a different God and a different Gospel.

The statement "No better" means to be no more according to the faith. Not to say they stink, have warts, and are bad people! LOL

I have never claimed self rightousness, I judge no one....I give my understandings. I only hope to stop some confusion of the true faith.

Well that's nice, because Jesus himself supposedly said that he will not Judge those who do not believe in him.

John.12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

So unless you want to call John a liar, Jesus will not be judging me for not believing in him by his own proclamation.

So if you're going to stick with the Fairytale, then the Fairytale has Jesus himself saying that it is not important to him that anyone believe him.

So all this crap that Christians spew about how important it is to acknowledge that Jesus is God and accepting him as your savior is utterly baloney and doesn't even agree with what's actually written in the fairytale.

I do think with soundness of mind, and I also look things up in the Bible all the time. What I find is that Christians have totally misrepresented what the story is all about.

It is my sound conclusion that Jesus actually denounced the ways of the Torah, and he didn't even claim to be the "only begotten son of Yahweh". Other people claimed that about him!

The Christian interpretation of this ancient mythology makes no sense. Jesus could not have been "The Christ". He must have been a mere mortal man like the rest of us. He was trying to educate people on true spirituality and get them away from the harmful mythologies that they were currently following.

He was crucified for his efforts. That is truly sad. However, now the Christians are trying to get everyone to believe that this was all a plan of that nasty Yahweh.

That's absurd.

The entire biblical story does not support that conclusion, IMHO.

In fact, by Christ you will be judged, be he judges you not. Many miss this.....he judged none but by his life are we judged. If he was able to keep all, it proves it is possible and we are judged by his life.....but he judged us not. If the mark was not able to be reached...none would be judged in any manner because of impossiblity to perform.
