because you are making an analogy between what I would do and what God would do,,,while leaving out VITAL information which puts it in better context

and I am doubting you have children(or possibly even siblings), because adults have the capacity to do things even when they 'know' better,, its called a choice and no fault of anyone but themself

it wasn't an analogy that I presented, even you said that your parent's motto was if you act grown then be grown and go take care of yourself ....so why would it matter if your parent's children were underage of an adult...

also what vital information did I leave out...I said if the "first time" that your child disobeyed you would you follow God's example and kick them out of the house for disobedience ...

you kept trying to fall back on the term "grown" ...which is why I kept asking for something from the bible that indicate that Adam and Eve's mentality was beyond that of a 5 year old before they took from the fruit...

you have not yet presented anything which mean the term "grown" do not apply and why would it matter since it wasn't about age but about disobedience and about the parent punishing a child for something that they themselves failed or refused to teach the child ..as God did to Adam and Eve

it mattered because my parents did not want to put me in harms way but instead to teach me about life,,,

just as God did, even though he sent them in the world, he STILL Made sure they had what they needed and were safe,,,

so what are you saying...that God wouldn't have kept you safe if your parents had kicked you out of the house for disobedience as he done for Adam and Eve

God always keeps me,,however, that doesnt mean that I wont struggle or be hurt , it just means he carries me through those trials and tribulations when they occur

the simple answer you are looking for,, God would not have kept me SAFE(speaking mortal valus), but he would have kept me because he always does

ok...now that it's been established that God will keep you ...would it now be ok for your parent's to kick you out of the house the first time you disobeyed them

God does not kick someone out the first time. There is forgiveness with God. People stumble and screw up, but they are forgiven if they truely seek it.

Any parent that would put their child in their basement for all eternity is no parent worthy of having children.

nobody will ever be put in any basement or anything.

There are to options when we pass away on earth, we either get into heaven or cease to exist.

no, as the intentional taking of a life (not in wartime, legally speaking) is murder and murder is a sin

also a christian is to suffer not little children(emphasis on LITTLE)

Satan doesn't exsist in my world, so no. Knowledge comes from tangible evedence. So far, there is no tangible evidence of satan.

Cowboy....it's hard to believe that you would post something like that while we are discussing Adam and Eve

so did God commit murder and sin when he caused The Great Flood and took ( emphasis on LITTLE) lives?

lol,,,the commandments are for Man not God,,,man can sin against God because he created us and set the guidelines for us to persevere, abandoning those guidelines decreases our chance to persevere,

God cannot sin against man for man is HIS creation

If I make a model plane,, and I have it on display and someone ELSE takes it,, thats theft,, If I decide to take it, destroy it, give it away,,,thats no offense because it is MY creation to decide what to do with

It's funny to me the different ideas of the afterlife spread between religions... or even amongst followers of the same religion.

What other stuff did Father McBride tell you? or that you made up.

MsHarmony that's an bad analogy ...let's give you one that fits the subject..let's say that you created a human clone in your image...is it ok if you kill it since you created it
