Topic: Writer or talker? | |
---|---|
I like writing better. Love writing poetry. My oral speaking is getting better. Love to talk at our 12 step meetings that we have locally. It is fun to talk shop at work.

Nice to read stuff from people who have gotten to observe themselves objectively. I write much better than talk...when around people, watcher. If you're not a great talker, do you find you tend to watch people more? It can be very interesting when you sit and just listen, without making any decsion about what they are saying. I'm a major people watcher. What they say, what they do, how they act or react to things. I find it all very fascinating and I learn a lot as well. Is'nt that being a stalker?? Anna x Shhhhhhhhhhh! |

Hummmmmmmmmmm I may be better at it by writing my words then actually face to face but.............then I do not have a problem voicing my thoughts either.
For most though it is easier to write down what you what to say to another for then you have time to re-read it and correct things. Instead of just spur of the moment without thinking what you have to say and it comes out wrong. |

I write if I need to express myself. In conversations, I'm usually the listener, not the talker.

Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) was considered a great author cuz' he wrote in dialect, right. Well...I write in dialect too...just in a wierd stoned out surfer kinda' way! Our dialect is hard to come by...long live gonzo! |

I write to exercise my mind.
I talk when I need to. |

My written skills are far superior to my verbal skills.
The latter are rarely used since I never leave the house. |
