It's a preference. You don't have to put anything there. If I'm looking through profiles, the chances of me contacting someone with no profile or with very little written is very low. Again, a preference. Well singmesweet,that is your choice to make,even though if I was any one else,they would probably tell you that,that is a very poor choice to make.But,to each their own ! |

Okay....I enjoy alphabetizing and catagorizing my very extensive collection of records, albums, and 78's, and making a database of them according to genre, songwriter(s), producers, label (domestic or import), year, time, lyrical content, membership, original or cover version, album location if available, how many copies, and what format they're on. There's a real conversation-starting eye-catcher, huh? |

I hope you don't mind me saying here,but since I have been around this site Off & On,I have sure noticed that there have been a lot of un-necessary criticisms being thrown towards newbie profiles & others for the way they are or what they believe or like and maybe those regulars here should try to get to know those peoples before making such snide remarks I agree with this to a certain extent...... Glad someone notices the same thing here  I don't really think it has anything to do with being new. If you're here to meet someone, why not put a little effort into a profile? If you're not, then I guess it's not needed. Well here's the deal. The OP is new, yes. And btw, he's posted all of TWO times folks .. how many pages has this thread gone. He's left us to our chatter. LMAO But seriously. First comments out of the gate .. FIRST IMPRESSION mind you is to tell us he's gonna throw up (in CAPS) and what the hell is wrong with us as women? Now, I don't know about you Robin .. but honestly, this a good impression DOES NOT MAKE. The guy shows what a grouch he is. And nit-picking. Come on. His very first post out of the shadows, and he has this negative thing to say? Who gives a rat's ass about the comments on the beach .. altho it blows me away how something that beautiful can actually be perceived as a pain in the butt .. lol But who cares about the beach part? He's crass and insulting. That's more telling than being a newbie. Period. |

Why is it a poor choice? Are you saying I should base who I choose to talk to on pictures? There needs to be something else there. If they haven't bothered to fill out much of a profile, there's not going to be anything there that makes me interested in talking to them. |

my ex husband used to collect sports cards and i mean buy like 12 unopened cases of boxes at a time!!! here a pile there a pile , everywhere a pile pile

This is a year old post!! Talk about raising the dead!
If you can't walk on the beach without breathing difficulty -- work out!  How embarrassing for you.  Does your date have to administer CPR? Wow, such a negative Nelly about the ocean and all it's wonderment. What's wrong with a little sand in your azzz crack? I am not much of a romantic and it's rather perfunctory to see "walks on the beach" in every profile but shees -- you sucked all the fun out of a potentially nice event including gettng stung by a jelly fish.  I’d rather go rock climbing or go for a run on the beach with a date; however, add a bottle of wine and a sunset, and I think I’m game! (yes, I know the OP was joking -- so am I) |
