I just don't see the problem with someone saying they like the beach, be it for a romantic reason, or just because they like being there. If you don't like the beach, don't go. It's as simple as that.

Most people on dating sites are either too lazy or too uncreative to write anything original.

"Beach" is just one of the many mindless cliches used in 97.3% of all profiles....others include: "I love my friends and family (none of the rest of us do, of course), "I like to go out or stay in" (what are your other options, really?), "Looking for my partner in crime" (when the most interesting thing she's ever done was to drop a dozen eggs on the floor), "I'm a single mother of two kids and they are MY WORLD" (proving that some planets, do NOT, in fact, host any form of intelligent life), "I don't know what to write here," "Anything you want to know you'll have to ask" (i.e., I'm too lazy to tell you, so you'll have to drag it out of me....)

I sincerely believe that most people on dating sites are working from some sort of template, or perhaps a "Dating Site Profiles for Dummies" book, which results in about 97.3% of all profiles being almost exactly the same. The same vapid and boring and mundane phrases, parroted endlessly, profile after profile -- and THIS is how we're supposed to find someone interesting....?

dah!!!!!!!!!! you walk on the wet sand... the part that is harder than the dry sand and not as soft as real close to the water... understand? as far as making it over the dry sand maybe find a beach that doesnt have so much of that... that is a outta shape thing.. or get a 4 wheeler or a scooter chair to get to the place u can handle... doenst much sound like you like the beach anyway... try the mountains... oh yea there are some hills there

I like walking on the beach

It's the 15 hour drive to get there that wears me down

i like walking on the beach, but if i had it in my profile id tend to say.... piggy back rides on the beach, and seaweed fights lol those long ones with the ball on the end like to chase people and try to rope them with it my youngest daughter is a softball pitcher... she is harsh to mess with seaweed ! she gets the piles of it and throws it and ewwwww got me in the face a few times.... nothing like laughter and enjoying yourself on the beach... JMO

I can be at the beach in under an hour, its just that it is a turd infested condom sanctuary. Its a stony beach too and hurts my arthritic feet. I also broke my wrist falling over on the slippery stones last time i was there.

Maybe i will go there now!
