Good morning, friends.
 Still too wet to dig in the red muck. The red clay just sticks to your boots. I was spending a lot of time trying to scrape the bottom of my boots on the edges of the concrete blocks. My dog, Lady kept trying to eat the clay. I would try to shovel and she would try to dig with her paws in the same place. I was wanting to do my Robert DeNiro impression with, "Hey, I am digging here." Lady had red clay on her tongue from trying to eat the dirt. Then, I would pull out a root and she was thinking I was wanting to play fetch the stick. I gave up on frisbee with her after she ate the last one.

She shred it to pieces, Sam. I made a modern game of fetch the stick with her with pvc pipe but she never brings the stick back but just wants to play keep away with it. She wants me to try to take the stick away from her but then growls when I try. Have you ever watched that cartoon, "Courage" where the old man keeps on calling Courage a dumb dog?

I liked Galveston. The only thing was that I tried very hard to pick a big shell on the beach and I guess the beach combers must pick them up for the local shops. Found some small shells on the beach, though. It has been a long while since I was there.

Plus they have machines to clear the sand of thrash. And the locals have to make a living. Bye a shell.
Probably need to take the Fairy over to the other side for good shells
