Good morning all. I am so glad that I don't have more to dig. We got the floor pad at 4 inches thick except the edges which were 8 inches deep and 12 foot by 22 foot wide and long. With the fiberglass concrete I didn't have to use rebarb. I kept praying yesterday that it wouldn't rain. Of course the first thing lady did was to go walk right through it. But we just smoothed it out. As hot as it was yesterday it was dry within hours and after three hours I was walking on it. $400 for the cement and $150 for the guy to help me finish it. Another friend said he owed me for past favors and helped for free. All I can say it it just looks beautiful.

Took the forms down for the concrete pad. It still looks nice. I was just out there with the broom sweeping it off. I guess Lady thinks it is her room now. Good morning, friends.

Good morning, Don. I am still amazed at all the crimson and clover on the ground. Also my peach trees are bent over with peaches. The blackberries are beginning to turn from white to red and the turtles are really crossing the roads. Watch out for those turtles when you out on the roads because they can't keep up with all them rabbits crossing in front of them. It is road kill season.

TGIF Good morning early birds

Well it's not morning, but I wanted to drop in and say hello to all my friends here. School ended yesterday and now I'm trying to catch up with work on the house and preparations for the wedding.

i hope all of you are doing well. i think of you often. i miss our chats. take care and i'll drop in again as i get a chance.

Its about 3:30 in the morning, here. I worked all night Friday night at the nursing home then layed block the next 8 hours. I have four tiers of block next to the road of the new room and then it gradually slopes from 4 to 3 to 2 tiers where it joins next to the house. I finally passed out from all the coffee and heat about 6 in the evening. I am glad neither Norman or me got a heat stroke. But it sure looks beautiful. So we are done with concrete and blocks and the rest will be wood work.

My goodness.... drink them fluids! PLENTY of fluids! (smiles)
