May Day. The blackberry bushes have white berries on them. Haven't seen any may apples, yet. I put the new VR3 speakers in the van; 5 and 3 quarter speakers on top of the dash and 6 by 9 in the back gate. The 'Money Pit' sounds good now. I am still getting, "If you would have put all that money in a newer vehicle you would have a better deal". I didn't have all that money at first though. Still waiting on my federal and state returns. It was nice to be off yesterday and looking forward to be off tonight. Good morning, friends.

Good morning, Silver. My mom is moving in two weeks farther away to be close to her daughters, my sisters. She told me that I will have to get the electric in my name. She has some quilting frames and a kitchen cabinet with the flour shaker that was my grandmother's that she wants me to get out of the pumphouse here that she will take to the house she is moving to. She was okay as long as my younger brother was still living with her but he moved away. She will be closer to ther grandchildren and she is ready to move. My aunt across the street went with her to the new house, yesterday. I will be mailing the rent to her for this place after the rent payment I made, yesterday. She came by the house while I was putting in the speakers and she said she had a electric bill for me. I said, "Thanks, mom." Mom is used to my sarcasm. I think I got it from her.

Looks like a nice day here, got some yards to take care of.

Good day to burn here, Don. They have the burn ban off since we had the good rain. I have some limbs in the back yard I was burning. I noticed my neighbor had a good fire going up the road. If I had planted a garden like him I wouldn't be mowing mine. Not too late to put out some stuff, though. I seen some people buying some garden plants when I picked up on the good deal they had going on Red Baron pizza. It was nice to see the good pizza go for less than $3.00 a box. I was in line at the bank behind this man and his girlfriend. She was doing the teller business outside the car. I guess his window didn't let down. This one guy with a hopped up El Camino kept revving his car up and finally said some expletives while he gunned it out of the line. I guess patience wasn't a virtue that he had right then and there. Beautiful day to be out in the yard.

Its nice that your mom will be closer to her grandkids, Trout...they grow up soooo fast! Both of my gsons are graduating this June, one from hs and the other from a 2 yr college program.. gdaughter going back to school this fall to get her masters and dr...she's 25..

Was mowing behind the backyard. I forgot how many rocks I hit. At this rate I might have to either get another blade or sharpen the one I have. It started to rain, again so I came in. Time to get some bug killer to put down so the rain will soak it into the ground. I want to get some stuff that will keep the ticks away.

I made chocolate chip/butterscotch a couple days ago, or more accurately, flavored hard, rocks. Hope yours turned out better!
