If Iraq is an Illegal war, why doesn't Hussein just say sorry 'bout that and just pull our troops out. Or, is he doin' what Bush would do.

That's probably why it took him so long to decide what to do in Afghanistan. Contemplating, WWBD?laugh  slaphead

Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11.

There were a lot of "misinformations" in those websites showing "reasons" for war in Iraq.

I will not go through all of them.

Just do not believe those sites they have an agenda to twist the information to fit something that is not accurate.

LOL!
What's evident is;
Bush would have, and did, ignore the war with those responsible for 9/11.whoa

Obama isn't

His product is a "selective documentary" for lack of a better term where the only side shown is the one you want to show. It is therefore, not a documentary and is an entertainment film. By the way, Sicko netted (as in profits) over $25 million. His latest grossed almost $15 million.

Farenheit 9/11... over $215 million dollars NET. two hundred fifteen f'n million! How can you be so blind as to not see they hypocrisy of a guy that makes that kind of money (yes, I understand he didn't take all of it) sitting there saying our system of capitalism is fatally flawed? That very system has made him a multimillionaire. he whines incessantly about that "top 1%" but he is in that top 1%!

However, Limbaugh ******* and moans about everything the liberals and "drive by media" do but he actually sticks to his guns and doesn't take advantage of the liberal programs for the most part.

Either way, they're both wrong and both brainwash many, but at least Limbaugh isn't bitching about the very system that is making him rich.

You forgot to mention how much Rush Limbaugh makes or have , and I'm sure he is not having sleepless nights about the bills lining up on the table.

Either way, one left one right.....they are making a killing on the support of their own fans.. again...instead of thinking for themselves, millions just parrot what they say, because they are unable to add 1+1 together by themselves.

And again, I blame the people , regardless left or right, it's their problem if they have aligned themselves with one side and can't keep an open mind. Follow one side like a dogma, or worship various celebrities and loudmouth radiohosts and self-declared "experts"- neither of them Rush or Moore or any other out there has any expertise on political or social studies, while the ones who do have and hold Phd-s, and decades of experience are ignored, thanks to these loud mouth- profiteers.
Keep listening to one or the other, later have a civil war..I don't care. The people get a government of what they deserve, let it be the cruelest or the best.

The argument I'm making has nothing to do with the relative income, only that while Limbaugh makes millions in the system (capitalism) that he supports, Moore too makes millions and claims so much to hate the very system he has exploited to gain that wealth. To clarify, I have no issues with someone making a couple hundred million on a movie they produce.

But this post is spot on otherwise. drinker

Michael doesn't hate the system. I have yet to see him show hatred for the system.
Showing what can be ugly about the system I would accept, showing hatred no.

While his latest movie technically sounds like he fully supports capitalism (i.e. no giving money to all these big businesses) it is in reality that he just speaks out more against big business than capitalism. He has often spoken out saying the rich need to pay more of their earnings to benefit the poor. That, is against capitalism.

Trying too hard here.

That is still not hatred at all. Nor is it against the system.

Rich capitalist here state they should pay more because of their advantage. Read Buffet.

Oh, so one billionaire thinks that all the rich can pay more.

You know what? If he gave 75% of his money away, HE'S STILL A F**KING BILLIONAIRE! he still has more money that all of us on this site will make in our lifetimes.

I'm sorry. It's people like you that are wrong with the system because you listen to "experts." Just because one person says it's so does not make it absolute. Try weening yourself off the talking points and think for yourself for once. Why is it that way? Why is it fair? i can argue and explain where my logic comes from. I've had no such luck from you.

you still haven't proven your statements either. And to clarify (since the definition of what hate is is so much lower for guys like limbaugh to you and high when convenient), he preaches how bad and wrong it is even though it made him filthy rich. quit dodging questions.

Either way, f**k it. I'm done arguing with someone bringing a proverbial knife to a gun fight. If you ever want anyone to take you serious in a discussion, you really should back up your "opinions" with fact. Especially when your only response when confronted with fact is "that's not true"

what is so funny about this letter is it's so ignorant! I mean did any informed person actually beleive he would really pull out of Iraq or Afganistan? Such a huge problem in this world no realist's! Don't listen to what politicians say look at what they do and what they have power to do! The reality is evil exsists and it is easy to say we should not go to war but when your actually faced with the facts and real world alternatives it's a different matter! Wake up America isolationism died after WW1!

Go ahead...

Read all about Mr. Buffet.

Than spice up your knowledge of the real world a bit.

Visit a place with a title like christs table... take food for a few people along... Some of those you will find there have no other source of cooked meals...

Then find out who might be PROVIDING the food.

bet you find an unsung rich person somewhere in the mix... Might be cooking, Might be the lady that just dropped off a crap load of food, might even be that scuffy looking old fart picking his teeth in the corner.

You just might be supprised at how many pass on their bounty all accross this country... right under your noses but without a trumpet.

There is no "responsible way" to pull out of any of these wars. Never seen it happen.

I knew this back when he was talking..and I knew that he won't pull out anyway..at least until his term is about to end. But that's even doubtful since Obama is just a loudspeaker dressed up, used by the special interest to voice whatever they want to voice to the public through a tabloid magazine face. They say "hey, they don't want to take the pill through an old wrinkle faced guy, let's get it through a smiling "young" democrat, and especially women will believe everything he says, and so will the "young new generation" who grew up on hip-hop music, basketball and "what's cool", myspace/facebook and so on.

Funny, isn't it?? It amazes me how people can completely ignore all the good works that the vast majority of " rich " people actually do and just concentrate on the few that skirt the law, hide their money or whatever.

They make donations to charities (usually LARGE donations ), soup kitchens, other groups, and they ask for nothing in return.

Bush and Malaki signed an an agreement before Bush left office. It kinda tied Obama's hands unless he wanted the US to appear as untrustworthy under his Admin as it was under Bush's.
I warned of this while it was happening. Couple this on top of Bush's unwillingness to plan for an exit strategy has made the removal of US forces complicated and difficult to say the least.

Still, when Obama took office a mere 11 months ago, the US had more than 168,000 troops in Iraq.
That number is now about 110,000. By Aug 2010 it will be reduced to less than 50,000.
Basically down to forces required for continued training of Iraqi troops and police, and support personnel needed for rebuilding infrastructure.

Given the difficulties left to him, I think this is a pretty significant reduction for what will be in Aug, approximately 18 months in office.

As far as Afghanistan is going, Obama is doing exactly what he said while campaigning. Concentrating on the enemy Bush let slip away.

I say more campaign promises kept!

Misdirection.

Exit from war zone is allways complicated by the very nature of war.

Exit strategy from Iraq was in place BEFORE Obama took office so giving him credit for it is balderdash.

What I will never understand is how anyone can give a Nobel Peace prize to the leader of a country that IS AT WAR.

Such a thing is an aberation in my opinion... A gross and sickening aberation.

It isnt given to the nation, It is given to an individual. I dont know all the criteria for the award, but from what I have read, and seen, OBama did much to unite people around the Globe, which could be considered quite a success in the name of PEACE.

Michael Moore is an idiot.

We were attacked by Al Qieda from Afghanistan.
This is where we should have concentrated our efforts for the last 8 years. Not in Iraq.

People were openly and loudly against the illegal war in Iraq.
We should never have invaded Iraq.

They were not against the War in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan was mostly ignored.
We need to finish the job in Afghanistan.

Personally, I think it needs to be all America's sacrifice.
I do not think 30,000 is enough.
We should draft and send 300,000.

Heh, funny...OBL is not even on the FBI's most wanted list for the 9-11 attacks...and is there anyone here that will seriously tell me that they think the 9-11 Commission report was accurate? I notice there are no 9-11 threads here...is that taboo?

Nice ploy about a draft suggestion...lol...this war would end immediately if the rich people's kids were made to go...
