nature has tons of homosexuals.

giraffes, for instance...and penguins...many animals even mate homosexually for life.

I hope all of you that support Gay marriage are going to support polygamy as well. Who are we to say that a man can't marry 10 women if they love each other.

What goes on in someone elses life is not my business. It doesn't have anything to do with how I live my life on a day to day basis, so I would not care if a man married 10 women.
polygamy doesn't bother me, either.

and it does already happen...I live in Utah

Ah, But therein lies the rub.

So many people " looked down " on that practice, that even the Mormon Church decided it was no longer prudent to condone it.

I'm thinking polygamy is making comeback.

I personally couldn't tolerate being married to 1 woman let alone 10 or 12..

Wouldn't they die out because they can't reproduce?

i'm absolutely horrified and saddened by this.

i can't believe that anyone would think they have a right to restrict others from marrying and being happy.

it's disgusting.

Have you ever seen pictures from a "gay pride" march??--Now that's, disgusting!!smokin

Yes, these gay pride marches are a disgrace, the way they dress and act is disgusting. I was glad when Boston stood their ground and didn't have the St. Patrick's Day Parade the year the gays were allowed to have their parade. I know not all gays are like that, but hell, these parades go way too far.

Why look? If you don't like it, then don't bother. You think that when the evangelicals are having their shindigs in the middle of town that I go down and look at them with disgust?(since I do not agree with their beliefs) No, I mind my own business and go on about my day normally. Maybe you should do the same. Maybe if you did, you wouldn't be so angry with the world.

Oh my dear it IS my damn business. When little kids are at a parade they do NOT need to see these flamboyant scantily clad clothes. What kind of society have we become where all goes in front of our children. Sheesh people.slaphead So it is my business and I will go against it. You keep doing what you do and I will do the same.

WTF does this have to do with gay/lesbianism, these videos are disturbing. Coming to your local neighborhoodnoway

I respectfully disagree. I think marriage has always had cultural boundaries. Why do we let a 30 year old marry a 20 year old but not a 15? These things are culturally determined and not such a huge deal. I think the better way to fight for equal rights is to stick to the issus of RIGHTS. Whatever relationships people choose, they should have the rights to healthcare and financial assets that marital relationships have. There was never a need to tamper with marriage to accomplish this. For the record, I am bi. I am perfectly happy with man marrying woman but I do believe that people living alternate lives should have the same rights when it comes to their health, education, and finances(so long as commitment is involved).

I would have to agree since it typically takes over a mile or so of city streets in the heart of the city you work or live in.It is kinda of hard not to see it if you are working or living downtown since it is a all day event.Lets not forget how much tax money is being spent to have that event in the city.I was driving to work one day and I didn't know they had a gay pride parade and had to sit at a stop sign for a few minutes watching it go by.In that short time I saw a float with a lot of lesbians on it and they were wearing dildos around their necks.I also saw a girl walking topless giving children smarties candy.Drag queens, guys grinding with other guys wearing next to nothing on a float. It was more like a immoral perversion parade to me.

See, why would decent gays or lesbians not denounce this kind of lewd behavior. I'm against abortion but I'm 100% against some moron bombing an abortion clinic. I stand up for decency, guess some just don't care. noway

Well I'm off this topic, it disgusts me so have fun in here. The topic WAS the states pushed their laws on the people and the people spoke. That IS their right no matter what some of you say. There are other states that allow it, you can't force everyone to accept it because we won't. Bye and have fun, be good now, ya hear. waving

That is why the gays keep losing the court cases because marriage simply isn't a right. You have the rights to a lot of things but marriage isn't one of them.Love isn't a right either.Even if it was a right if someone was going to divorce you are you going to tell the judge you are losing your rights because someone is divorcing you?It sounds as ridiculous as the people marching for their "rights" towards marriage. In reality the gays have every right any straight person has.

if you're gay in Maine you can do anything you want behind closed doors

except be married

^Duh, we gathered that, it's what the discussion is about.....

here is my problem with all of this, same as the helmet law for motorcyclists. In Pa. I can ride without a helmet, I go to Jersey and have to put one on....Now say a gay couple is married legally in another state and they get a job promotion in Maine. Why then would their marriage be nul and void.....if you're going to pass laws make them universal.

Texas is having that issue right now. Couple got married up in Maine, and are trying to get divorced down here, but Texas doesn't want to allow the divorce because they're gay. The most recent court thing did pass to allow them to divorce, though that's currently being appealed.
