In 8 short years our country was taken to its knees and we used the republican formula, less taxes war and borrowing. We are now bankrupt and your try to blame the Dems? This is rich.

ya know...I see in these forums and in life things that are insane sometimes people wants to laugh at Bush-isms (I think they are funny too) but don't anyone dare speak of Obama-isms because then the excuses come out of the wood work instead of just laughing at those too people whine about Fox news but yet they use blatantly biased sources on the other side that seem to be ok as long as it is what they want to hear people talk about the right wingers, republicans, conservatives...whatever doing this and that....when the other side does the exact same thing!!!! but that seems to be ok I see nothing but hypocritical things a lot lately and if it wasn't so sad it would be funny

Sorry most people think hosting the olympics is a great honor as well as an economic stimulas. I'm sorry, but some people check out their sources. I checked the "Weekly Standard's" blog site and no such article exists. Furthermore, 45 percent of Chicagoans oppose bringing the Olympics to Chicago (47 percent were in favor). Presumably opponents have reasons other than a deep-seated hatred of America for wanting to see the city fail in its bid? Or does the White House think Chicagoans who don't want the games are unpatriotic, too? It seems that, like Obamacare, the more people learned what hosting the Olympics really means -- higher taxes, heavy traffic, more corruption -- the less support there was. So, I was wrong to write this morning that Chicago lost. It didn't lose. Neither did America. Obama's cowboy diplomacy lost. And I cheered. One man. And for good reasons. The people of Chicago have suffered enough, they can't afford higher taxes and worse traffic. And as the Olympic committee member said, they were concerned with TSA. Besides, who wants to go to Chicago? Since they passed their new gun legislation, murders have gone up by 18%.

They want to involve themselves into your every day to day activity, because they don't care about you personally, they just want power. I've pretty much said that before myself. a lot of them seem to want freedom for all as long as it's what they believe in. My sister is (what I think)is a true liberal. she and I (I'm more conservative myself) both can see that others have the rights to things whether we agree with it or not, as long as it's legal. we both believe in the constitution and upholding that

no one fool me. I'm pretty stubborn in my view points and opinions. I'm conservative but liberal minded to want to protect people's rights under the constitution and law. not many seem to want to answer my question though I know the answer but I just want someone on the other side to give their answer so maybe I could see their thinking on it

We all know after 911 the hysteria that was created we even gave up our rights, the act was written well before 911 and ready to go as soon as they had a reasone. One more reasone I think 911 was the Reichstag burning redone.
