:heart:Do you think it is okay to lower your standards if the person you are falling for does not meet them?

It's okay if I will just be wearing their skin and hanging them up next to my schoolgirl outfit in the closet...

But the important question here is....do you have shoes and a purse to match????

Through the years. I have found that my standards have gotten nothing but higher.

For a long time, I took what I figured I deserved/could get.

Not anymore. I know what I want. Even if I wind up not getting it, I'm ok with that.

I deserve better than what I have had.

I agree with...but...you had to know there'd be one....... don't think we should allow our standards to give us tunnel vision so that we are not flexible to compromise to the point that we miss out on something...someone..truly wonderful.

NO! If your not completely satisfied with the other persons standard for themselves now, then you won't be later either! You know what your looking for, and anything less is just not acceptable!

Sure you could tolerate the setting of a lower standard to fit them in...but it's not what your really looking for. It would always be "one brick shy of a load"! JMO

Now would you settle for this body, if you had to lower your standards on the face?

Well...that's true as well.

My standards really aren't all that stringent. I can be flexible on some things.

I agree with re-evaluating what's important. Some things you may be able to be flexible with while others are deal breakers.

I couldn't fall for someone who didn't meet my standards. And I'm perfectly happy with that.

Just means I've gotta be patientbigsmile
