3) Advertising: (...bombards everyone with a very unrealistic impression of a "real" woman, seducing us all into EXPECTING this image as the status quo)
To me, the sexiest thing in the world which can occur between a man and a woman is ACCEPTANCE...then observe as TRUE LOVE and UNYIELDING LUST ignites like a brush fire in California.
I will be honest, though. It seems that every time I see someone get married, one or BOTH spouses just totally let themselves go physically. I sincerely believe "comfort food" is the culprit, consumed to ward off depression, and numb the gnawing suspicion that maybe getting married was a bit premature in the first place....

I was heavy and now I am thin. Real live, working class men have told me that I am to thin and need to put some meat on my bones. I was genuinely surprised to hear this the first few times having been brought up with pix of models and most tv actresses etc etc. All the time I was heavy I thought the only way to be considered attractive (never mind SEXY) was to be thin...so I was surprised - it may surprise you to find out just how many men prefer a women who has a real shape and "meat on her bones"

be loved/liked for who you are, not for how you look. Trite I know but true also.

Some women look good thin, some don't. Some women look good with meat on their bones, some don't. Some men like the former, some the latter. Same for women. Welcome to the human condition :)

This often comes down to physical attraction. Many men simply aren't attracted to larger women. However there are other men who would date and in some cases generally prefer larger women. Being attracted or not attracted to a certain physical attribute doesn't make someone shallow.

When it comes to women with some weight, truthfully it doesn't matter much to me. As some other people have said here, as long as you're healthy, you're confident in yourself and you love yourself for who you are then I'm thinking the right guy hasn't crossed their path.

And yeah, there are plenty of guys that just look at the surface but again, same goes for women with guys (or women-women, etc). So yeah, that's just my opinion on it.
