BHO was raised a Muslim! The WH has published many articles saying "He is now christian!". To bow to this Muslim leader in servitude, representing us all, was a "personal" feeling showing his weakness or appreciation of his post as our leader!

The WH is backpeddling on this so fast they hope to hide his error in the smoke of their tires!

It's like telling your date you don't have aids or herpes any more!

But that doesn't matter that he was raised muslim and shoulda know better! Don't you see, he's Obama, he can do no wrong!

Get over yourself, were you with Obama in his childhood? I think not. You fell for the campaign crap hook line and sinker.

I don't think his bowing means anything in the scheme of things

Is it making or breakng America?

Is it taking or giving the middle class jobs. Food. $$$

Let the man bow

If it is true that he was at one time a Muslim then I can imagine that he should have known better to not bow down at the Saudi leader unless he was a child at the time of being a Muslim then he doesn't know of course.

I mean who exactly was Muslim? Was it his Kenyan father and did he spend anytime with him? I don't think a long time that is for sure.

I think he spent more time with his American mother and grandmother even as a young adult. They were Christian right?

I also think that the Saudi leader also forgives (leaders) for not knowing the correct greeting.

Usually envoys give instructions on how to greet their leaders also right? Where was the Saudi's leader's advisor on that?

For example when visiting the White House we have advisors making sure you address President Obama when speaking to him and not just "Hey Obama. What's up?" lol

It reminds me of "Seven Days in Tibet" when the Austrian Soldier was adviced on how to greet the Dalai Lama. He had to bow down and never look directly at his holiness eyes at the time. At least he was adviced before entering the palace!

It looked like in the end both the president and the saudi leader's meeting seemed peaceful and perhaps productive.

So am I forgiven yet D? This mans act cut me to the core! My brothers and sisters in service died so NOBODY in this great nation would ever bow before any man! His act was disgraceful and treasoness.

Can we now agree?

No forgiveness is needed. But we still disagree because you are saying it like it is a crime to us and the only one he offended was the Saudi leader.

He is our leader D. I want someone with ability and wisdom leading my country. You did the research and discovered his error. Did he? His staff did obviously.

I want a leader who doesn't need a teleprompter to express his views. Who really cares enough about people to care what they believe in or think is best.

Maybe it was an error on his part, but just ask a drunk driver..... "it was only a couple of beers! (for the 5th time at the scene of a crash!)"

He is unreliable as our leader. If it were just one thing, that could be a mistake, but he has shown us MANY!

We can only "enable" him once, after that he is a risk as our leader!

He is still learning the international aspect, not making him a monster just making him a learning president.

AS for a president who couldn't talk a lick, Bush, was an idiot in more ways than one. He almost lead this country to hell.

Obama is doing just fine considering what he inherited.

Insulting the Saudis I am sure was the furthest from his wishes. So it had to be a mistake. But it was forgiven so we are all good.

POTUS is not exactly mcDonalds... There is not supposed to be all this on-the-job training. That is the problem I see. hell, there's a person with no other job than to inform the president on foreign customs. Obviously, they're failing miserably.

tears I guess you would have to know the knowledge of war to a young mind. To go from 17 to 70 in moments without the luxury of guessing, or waiting for an outcome.

It is the standard. War at 6-7pm aired again at 11. Pictures and commentary.

Hold your friends guts inside while he bleeds to death speaking of home and family, then forgive this person who bows to a foreign ruler, even if by mistake. Mistakes cost lives when they are made by a leader. In Nam, our leaders trusted our judgement for we died for our mistakes. The orders from behind the desks in Washington were toilet paper! We did as we were directed, not as we were told. We knew the villagers, the VC, they had facts and figures, on paper.

Earn the right to forgive such a grievous error and I will humble myself in apology to you, but enabling a President who makes such errors is not rational thinking!

Wow the Asians must have a hard time not bowing as it is second nature to them.

I can see it now.

The Asian leader bows accidently to the Saudi leader and says," Oh sorry! I didn't mean that."

I meant to shake your hand or how about two kisses.

Oh hell! Just give me a hug!

And the Saudi leader turns red for he heard "hell"

I mean could you imagine Robin Williams as President. Come on now! This guy is funny! I would imagine the Saudi leader would change his customs if he met Robin as he tries to be formal. laugh

I have respect because I give it to others, sometimes when they are undeserving.

Obama made a mistake and insulted the Saudi. It will be okay though.

If you want a president that is perfect, get God, and good luck with that one! There is no human being that is going to be perfect at being president, period. Why? Because they are human.

We had a president for the last 8 years that a certain segment of society thought could do no wrong. we now have another president where a certain segment of society will also think can do no wrong.

They will all make mistakes, just as we do. And to expect otherwise is seriously naive. Obama is not a saint, not God and certainly not perfect, but I won't hyperventilate over him bowing.

I personally think he trys too hard to please everyone and in the end may end up pleasing no one. I don't know where he will take us ultimately, one can hope it's an improvement over Bush and past presidents.

I don't have to believe it, it is fact.

I have more respect than I know what to do with because I am respectful of others.

I don't know how to bow properly, I would be in the same boat with the president on this one but it doesn't make either of us bad.

Fact this.....!

I will fight and die today before anyone in this great nation bows before ANY man!

Spill your blood for freedom then tell me it is ok for my national leader to bow before another man!

IT IS NOT OK! IT WILL NEVER BE OK!

Respect them? Sure! I allow courtesy to any man or woman. But I will not allow you or anyone in my country to subjegate themselves before any foreign ruler while I am alive!

They don't die for that, they die for power and money, sadly.

Giving forgiveness is a gift to ourselves and to others not anything bad about that.

Please don't do me any disrespectful favors, it would be an insult to me and this country.

You can do whatever you want for yourself though feel free. I will continue to want my representatives to be respectful to other nations if it means bowing, kissing or hugging. There is no reason to be disrepectful to others.
