While your sons and daughters, brothers and sisters die to allow you the right to forgive! Coming from a family of soldiers and husbands that also served, one...Harry was in the special forces. Also served in Viet Nam. He would be so pissed to hear your crap (with all due respect). He had much to go through as you know. He had hills to climb and walls to go through. He made it. He was more humanistic when he reached his height of spiritualistic life. He would be very proud of Obama. He taught me to have patience and open my heart to change. Harry, I thank you for that. He taught me a thing or two about Muslim beliefs. My sons have taught me. They learn. They teach. This country of ours is made up of many religions...one of them Muslim. Why is it so many cry muslim and whine about them so? Because a few have turned it around to be a bad word? There are bad muslims as there are good ones that actually follow there real and true one. Same as there are so many bad "christians". Now...I saw in another thread where you are all over the place about this bowing thing and calling Obama out for bowing to a King. Calling him a traitor. That another King doesnt bow to another King. Well, you were shown on that other thread that this was indeed an insult. He made a mistake, even if it hadn't been a mistake...at least he was trying. Now you are here trying to start an uproar about the same damn thing. Only with a twist. Now it has become he was stupid to do this. Me thinks you cannot be happy. He represents me, as well as you. I am waiting and hoping to see what I hoped for in the beginning. At least he is trying to gain us respect again. He is trying to help. He has taken on many things. I hope he can handle all of it. At least this president is thinking of all of us...not his wants and wishes. If he fails...well, he fails trying. Better than that last guy...he never even tried and failed at that. It is too personal! Allow your leader to bow, justify his selling us out, that's your right. I must leave for a time, I can't take the pain of such passiveness, such disregard for my fellow servicemen or country. Go worship your God Obama who promises to deliver you while bowing to a foreign King! I wish you luck! I am sorry that you hurt yourself by seeing what is not there. We do not have any problems with Obama showing respect. |

My views haven't changed. I could care less about someones religious belief. Personally, I think we have been lied to from the beginning and our leaders in government made "Muslem" a bad word, NOT me!

But, I extend my hand back in friendship and respect for what another likes or feels the need to do. King or no King, President or individual. I allow my president at this time to try and show us and all the world that we deserve respect when we show it Sir. I have no problems with you. I find myself wondering why you are so angry? It makes no sense to me. May I ask; did you hollar this loud when bush was in office and screwing up one after another? Almost from the get go. I was afraid of him when he was running. As for serving this country and dying for it....not in viet nam...they died for nothing.....that was a war of lies as is this one. There is no honor in that.( I am not saying that these that died, died in vain...they died doing what they were told, believing it was the truth) Brave men and women laid their lives on the line for nothing. Fighting a tragedy of a war and leaving, coming home branded by their own countrymen. A sad sad thing. We lost way to many men and women to lies. While leaders didnt break a sweat. I hope this president gets us out of this damn war and brings all of our people home. We are not used to having a president that actually listens to the people that pay him. I for one...am all too happy to let him try to make a difference. I havent felt half way ok about life in America in awhile. I at least have some kind of hope now. Where before I had fear and worry. BHO was raised a Muslim! His dad was an atheist. His mom was an atheist. His grandparents were Christians. So where in that is Islam?

Perhaps we should be thankful that now we have a President with the sense to research foreign customs and traditions as opposed to one that can't pronounce "Nuclear." It was a sign of respect, maybe Obama didn't think a handshake was enough... Its not a custom for foreign leaders to bow to a dictator, unless you're a peasant under their rule. This is not true.  What color is the sky in your world? I wanna visit sometime! My world is reality, I have no clue what yours is. Prove it. Prove that bows are not customs in these countries. Bowing is the respect givin to a superior. If it were otherwise the Saudi King would have bowed back. |
