I haven't dated anyone since I have been on here, about 2 months now. I did meet one local guy and we are friends. He met someone else on here and I guess they have a little thing going on now. There are not many from my area on here. But I have made a bunch of great friends and thats almost better.

Dating over 50 is great. Know much more than I did when I was dating in my 20s. Don't have the pressures that I had then. Life is good.

I find that over 50+ men are not interested in women their age. They are here looking for much younger women. Who are the 50+ women supposed to date, men in their 90's? I have met several men from this site and most have been a few years younger and had no problem with my age.

Last Saturday night I went on the first date I've been on in 26 years (not counting 25 years of marriage). I put forth effort and it just didn't fly. It's like falling off of a horse and you don't know what caused you to fall but you know you have to get back on and try again.

Last Saturday night I went on the first date I've been on in 26 years (not counting 25 years of marriage). I put forth effort and it just didn't fly. It's like falling off of a horse and you don't know what caused you to fall but you know you have to get back on and try again. You seem like a pretty strong willed lady. Might scare many of the men out there. Keep looking, you'll find one. Kiss alot of frogs, to find a prince (like me).

I'm afraid there isn't a will strong enough to have kept up with this character last Saturday night; so full of himself! "I this" and "I that". I think I could have lit my hair on fire and he would have been checking his jewelry and talking about himself while the waitress came running with the fire extinguisher! Ha!

When that has happened to me, and it HAS, I just throw it back at him, laugh and say 'sorry man, you just blew a good thing....let me know how it works for you' I met a man one time. I had heard that he wouldn't take anyone out without sleeping with him...he said if he put out $100.00 on dinner and the meet, he expected to get laid! He actual told me this! Well DUH! Well I bought the coffee, and when he asked me to dinner, I told him sorry but I had a younger man waiting for me who didn't expect a woman to prositute herself for dinner. He flat out didn't know how to handle that..it was so funny, all the excuses he came up with!
