I just don't consider it "camping" when you pull into a concrete lot in your motor home towing your car behind,cooking in your 'kitchen and sleeping in your bed. Camping to me is going in the middle of nowhere with only what you can carry.

Some snakes will not eat in captivity. I hope you research and find out what you have so it doesn't just die. My son brought a Corn snake home once and we found it can't be kept in captivity because they usually will not eat. As much as he loved it we left it go.
