Well, I wasn't a "builder" (thought about it) but I knew what I enjoyed, and I felt I had a good pulse on what would make a server fun. It is neat when you have five or so people throwing out ideas and learning from one another. Anyways, the kid had the drive to do a good server. He just needed direction, ya know?

you dont have to be a builder for that hehe, we designers thrive on the recommendations of the community to know what they want. That collaboration ends in amazing results. Im doing that alot with my current work in progress game, work and opinions, it has been refined alot with that

I am amazed at all the things you can do with video games these days. Plus, with NWN, I always enjoyed seeing all the stories that the DM's would create. We had some good ones on CTA. I subscribe to GameInformer and I enjoy reading about upcoming games. That mag does a great job at interviewing the designers and creaters. You really learn why they do things, and what they hope to accomplish. Really is neat to read.

NINJA GAIDEN (XBOX)

I gotta hand it to Tecmo. Not only did they take a game that had been a hit on the NES and decide to redo it. They also gambled on bringing this game out for only the XBOX system. Team Ninja (the brains behind this game) created a masterpiece. The story is basic, but the graphics and the swordplay are just freaking fantastic. Not to mention the fact that in chapter seven you have (possibly) the toughest boss fight ever that happens IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME. The game has 15 chapters, and at chapter 7 you face Alma, who is tough as hell to beat (especially when you play it on the hardest level). Other than that though, this game is hella fun, it's cool, it's stylish and it delivers in every way.

Metal Gear - Solid 3

Honestly...I found this to be the weakest entry into the series. It was a good game, but man...the main song at the beginning...."shivers"

Fallout 3 for the PS3.
Eternal Darkness and Beyond Good and Evil for the Gamecube.
Goldeneye 007 for the 64.
GTA: Vice City for the PC.

i always prefered a good rpg where u build your own character from scratch like morrowind or oblivion
