People hate to hear it but my driver Jeff Gordon will win his 80th race this weekend and become the winniest driver in Indy history passing Rick Mears, Al Unser, and i believe Mario Andretti. It will be his 5th win at the legendary track.

Sooo.... I just want everyone to note that Jason Leffler is 4th in points in the Busch series. This makes me extremely happy. Haha.

Elliot Sadler.. Because he originally drove the M&M car and it was cool, now he doesn't but he is just a cool down home country boy.. and a good driver in time he will do great..

What makes me sick about Nascar is all you hear about is "Little E". On Monday, you barely hear about who won the race. The headlines are all "What Little E did in the race".
Look, I'm not an Dale,JR hater. Nascar has fallen into the dreaded "double-standard" didease. The Chase was expanded from 10 to 12 drivers to help ensure JR, Gordon AND Tony Stewart all make the race every year. What if JR doesn't make it this year?
If that happens, here's my prediction for next year:

No JR in the Chase this year? Next year, Nascar will either:

1-Expand the chase field to 14 or 15.
or
2-Institute a "fan's vote" allowing the fans to vote one non-chase qualifying driver into the chase.

Doing option 1 would be like the college bowl system. Too many teams in. Option 2 wouls make Nascar a joke like pro wrestling and major league baseball.

As I said earlier, I don't dislike JR. I wouldn't mind seeing him win the cup--next year, once he's away from the "wicked stepmother".

I have a friend who's a huge Mark Martin fan. Actually, I'm sorry to hear he's drastically cut his racing schedule. He was fun to watch, and like Peyton Manning in the NFL, a real role model for Nascar. He's one of the most consistent drivers I've ever seen. I really wanted him to win a championship before he left.

Junior is just a good story to talk about. He is always doing some thing out of the ordinary and is a big draw to the female population.

I like watching Tony Hothead Stewart because of his agressiveness and I can see Montoya getting into lots more scuffles with his fired up ass. Nascar is boring without some paint swapping!!!

i worked at home depot when stewart started racing for them so he's really the first one i really knew about.

i agree with you though. if people ain't actually racing it gets boring.

Tony has a quick temper but other than that he is a nice guy. He holds an RC care national race for the kids only 15 minutes from my house every year. He does a lot that others don't know about!!

i never met him personally but he seems like an alright guy. people that are in the spotlight are held to an unbelievably high standard which is unfair. at the end of the day they are all human.

Tony got accused of pushing a cameraman the one time right after a race. He was about to piss himself and the camera man was slowing him down. When ya gotta go...ya gotta go!!!
