littlepeg..Gordon did very well to get up that far while starting last
in a road race. He is still fine.Just remember that all is needed is to get into the top 12 half way through the season and then the real chase starts! |
yeah it will be really interesting having the two on the same team A
year not to miss |
The other teams are getting new members and things are changing all over
with the COT and new rules. The name is even changing to Sprint. The guys with the best sponsors will keep up. The little guys will lag for a while. Too much change all at once. The guys with the 7 post shakers have a big advantage over the have nots. |
You didnt like that about JR., aye?
Go Truex!!!! He is going to win it all this year!!!! |
What about Jr....Ya lost me on that one. Truex is good but not that
good. Hendricks team will win the whole enchillada! |
Jr does not nor ever will have the heart his daddy did!!
His Daddy was the Intimidator! Jr. is a timid little bunny, and has yet to prove himself!!! He might win with the best Team in Nascar, but his Daddy made RCR a great Team! Big difference!!! |
Well if RCR is so great it will be real interesting next year won't it!
Jr. went with Hendricks for peace of mind and the best chance to win. Kudos to Jr. and RCR will eat his dust!! |
My point exactly a Good driver makes his own way!
Regardless of the team. Davey Allison won! When he died Yates hasnt done anything since! Earnhart drove for RCR, when he died they havent done anything since! You could take either one of those drivers, put them in any team and they would be winners! Take Jeff Gordon away from Hendricks, would he win? doubt it! Can jr win there probably, but that wont mean hes a good driver. It just means he hooked up with a successful team! Just like all the other drivers with them! Just another face in the crowd!!! Hell, anybody could win with them! Proves nada!! Just another face in the Crowd!!! Never an Intimidator...... |
Your funny..lol This is EXACTLY why he did not go with RCR. All you
people expect him to be better than Daddy. He wants to separate himself from the family. He has had that sht hanging over his head long enough. He never once said he was as good as his Daddy. He is better in many ways. That's not true that a good driver can win anywhere. If the damn witch would have coughed up the money he would still be at home. Hendricks puts the money where it is needed. Without a good team and proper backing you can't win consistently. You are a fool if you think differently. You are living in the past. Nascar has the screws tightened down so tight on these guys that the game all changed. Hendricks is good but the playing field is getting more even with less room to work and equal aero. Keep in mind that this is a team sport. All cogs have to be clicking along with no errors. Gordon would improve any team by 25% because of his talent!! I agree..Junior is not an Intimidator...Thank God!! He was the dirtiest driver out there. He would not survive long with the new Nascar rules. He would have so many penalties he would be sitting in Michael Waltrips position!! The good ole boy era is dead and buried with Sr. Junior has evolved and has learned from Daddies mistakes. Sr. was hated by many people till he died. Then all of a sudden they all loved him. I don't get it. He would beat and smash his way through the pack every time. He would spin you out if you didn't get out of his way. He was not a clean racer. What was he doing when he died...He was blocking the whole race so his boys could win. |
What they do today isnt raceing its luck governed by rules, and
corporations!!! |
Everyone hated Elvis too till he died! Thats how you know your great,
when half the people love ya, and the other half hate you! He played by the same rules as everyone else. He was just better at it, and didnt cry about it like they do now! He was a Race Car driving MF! |
Hey Lakeman!! Thanks for the words of encouragement! I know there's alot
of folks out there that won't agree with me...but it doesn't matter! I also know Jr's not his dad (God rest his soul)...but he has racing in his blood...and he's fought long and hard..and I believe with all my heart that next year will finally be his year..and will be his best chance at winning the championship he so deserves! |
THE
INTIMADATOR !!!! 3 |
Debbiejo I fully agree with you. NOBODY is somebody else! I love the
banter on here..lol. Jr. is going places and he has made a choice to help him do it! End of story. It's a tough world in racing and you have to take advantage of all the tools that you can get in order to win. That's exactly what Junior has done. He is one of the best so, he should have the best equipment to do the job. It does no good to root for the number 3...lol i think he is dead last time I looked!! |
yeah, some folks need to get out of the past. sure, racing isnt like
what it used to be, but all things change, and not always for the worst. and i hate to burst anyone's bubble, but the last few years that Earnhardt Sr raced for RCR weren't too stellar either. so yeah, a good driver makes their own way, and junior is making his own way. just because it isnt the way you like, or it isnt the way his daddy would have went, doesnt make it the wrong way. get over it. |
I totally agree Cricket. The past is THE PAST. Now...the task at hand is
beating through all the new Nascar rules and regulations. Those old drivers would be penalized every race the way they used to drive. Tony Stewart is an example of a crossover driver that has had to change everything from his attitude to his driving habits just to stay competitive. He was headed for the unemployment line there for a while! Gibbs came real close to showing him the door!! Gibbs is a compationate man with great vision. He will be right there with Hendricks very soon!! GINN is also a BIG threat. Lot's of talent there and they are growing. Hendricks is running at top speed trying to stay ahead of the curve.THAT's RACING!! |

Hey Lakeman...got a question for ya? What was your opinion of the
infraction that DEI was found guilty of? I don't know about you...but my first impression was...that it was too coincidental that it came about at the next race...after his announcement to go to Hendricks. My gut feeling said it was someone deliberately trying to get even with him for quitting DEI? Maybe I was wrong to think that...but like I said...it was too big of a coincidence! What were your first thoughts? |
DEI wasnt found quilty of an infraction this time! Just the Hendrick
teams! It had nothing to do with Dale Jr.. |
This Chad Knaus 4th infraction since 2001!!!
Cheating seems to be a habit with the man!!! |
