That other substance was reportedly a small amount of another drug. Doesn't matter what. Pretty much any other drug besides weed is a felony and that is the least of my charges. The weed is a more serious charge, but still not the worst. The firearms that I legally owned and have never shot anything but targets with are what stands to get me in the most trouble here. Here's my question, OP says the guns (legally owned) are what stands to get him in the most trouble. Why? Is this where we all guess and assume what his actions were to be? kinda like sleeping in your car in the bar parking lot so you do not drive drunk and getting an unjustified dui ticket Again people should know the laws within their own state. As far as Texas goes if you in fact have the keys in the ignition then you had the intent to drive. How do they know you fell asleep on your own and not passed out instead with every intention of driving. Those laws have been on the books I know in the state of Texas for 30 years so what is ones excuse of not knowing the laws? But if the keys are in your pocket and you are in the passenger seat or the back if you have one then it is just public intoxication. Humm so who is at fault the one that went out and got drunk and had the choice to call a friend or a cab to get home or the officer for trying to save other lives on the road from drunk drivers? Ohh and please don't say what if they did not have the money to get home for if that is the case they should have went to the liquor store and drank at home where it's cheaper to drink. just because it is law does not make it right i guess those that sell baggies and alun foil should be arrested because they are used for drugs Hummm I never said that our laws were right or wrong all I said is the Police Officers have those laws to go by. Now whether they do or not is up to them and yes they do seem to decide at the time it happens at times. But...........neither less if the Laws are there we should know what in fact we are up against if we make that choice to break the laws and what in fact could happen. As far as the baggies and the aluminum foil a company can not be held liable for the product they make. The product was not intended for drug use at all. It is like a gun manufacture they design certain guns for pleasure use as hunting or even war not to go out and kill your neighbor or for a 5 year old to kill his friend. It is the person behind it that uses the item for their own purpose. It is not the item but what one chooses to use the item for. My self I do not agree with a lot of the laws but they are there unless they are changed they will stay there as well. I do not wish to see this guy or anyone else go down for weed and run their lives due to it. But the laws are there for Liquor as well we know them but still we try to get around them. To me Liquor and Marijuana are basically on the same scale. Now many others may not see this but that is how I look at it. and to say the law is the law is the same as saying it is justified |

So are you telling me, that on this whole planet Earth, you can't find anything to occupy your time and must resort to drugs for entertainment and leisure? what does it matter was not hurting anyone maybe fishing and hunting should be illegal cause after all most fish live in polluted water and hunting takes a weapon that you could hurt yourself using so maybe those two things should be next to be made illegal besides there are other things to occupy your time with (like singing praising the govt) |

what does it matter was not hurting anyone maybe fishing and hunting should be illegal cause after all most fish live in polluted water and hunting takes a weapon that you could hurt yourself using so maybe those two things should be next to be made illegal besides there are other things to occupy your time with (like singing praising the govt) Yeah, I do that on a regular basis - in between my TV, and video games, and internet, and photography, and poetry, and biking, and architecture, and craftswork, and collecting, and museum visits, and talking to chicks, and whatever else I might do for entertainment. But bright TV screens and photography flashes might hurt someone's eyes. You might stab yourselfself with a pencil writing poetry. I really did almost get hit by some dumb beeyatch driving a Jeep yesterday while biking. Architecture can fall down. Craftswork involves all kinds of dangerous tools. I might go arrowhead collecting in animal hunting land and get shot. Guys often get slapped by chicks. So why not resort to smoking some weed? Though not always as entertaining as many of the other things I listed, it does keep me from being bored on my off days from doing the other things in life. Beginning to doubt the "genius" |

"Why not resort to smoking some weed?" Simple. It's illegal.

"Why not resort to smoking some weed?" Simple. It's illegal. And here's where I refer (not reefer) to the top of this page 'to say the lawa is the law it to say it is justified' I don't care what the law says, smoking a little herb ain't no crime. |
