Hello, new ppl..... I've only been a member for a little over a month,

Guess I missed the part where an introduction made it all nice & fuzzy
with the “old group”. Was invited into the forums from an “Old group”
member and actually had an introduction, some folks said hi. Have been
posting little over a month and have made a couple very nice
connections.

I do have to say though, I hadn’t figured it out, but now this and a few
other threads explain it. There have been several threads that I’ve
posted on and had absolutely no response in return. Even when a
(pleasant) comment was directed towards another. I’m beginning to see
the separation and in my experience, Some of the “old” crowd are not
much interested in chatting with folks outside of a small circle.

I’m not offended and I’m in no way wining about it. Just offering my
experience and observation. Maybe I need to re-introduce myself………

I did the introductory thread the day I joined ... just 4 or 5 of the
oldtimers dropped by to say hello. It was nice of them to welcome me.

well it's a really cool site that I have come to enjoy, when I have the
time, a have met a few new people but I am sure that a lot are overcome
by the onslaught of the newbies in the past month

Okay, I am saying HI to all. I have my spells on here. I will come and
go at times. When my girls are here every other weekend, I have no
computer as they seem to take all the time they can, which is all of
it!!! A lot of times I pop in, make a post and pop out. Then it might be
days before I post again, then I have my times when I post a lot . There

I welcome all those I didn't. Just because my post number is up there
and my join date is Oct. dosen't mean a thing to me. I like everybody on
this site and have no enimies, that I know of anyway.

Camp -- the point you raise is quite valid, and some of us have been
trying to address the issue in various ways, even if only to the extent
of acknowledging that the situation, as you observed it, does in fact
exist.

Of course, nobody can FORCE anyone to mingle outside of their own
perceived "boundaries," such as they are -- and no one should be forced
to do so.

I really do see some progress, though. We need more, but a few steps in
the right direction are better than no steps.
