i put a thread up introducing myself, i havnt been posting much cos ive
had a hard time of late. i will be making more posts in the

Well, being a kind of shy and a newbie I never officially introduced
myself but already have a few friends here. Sorry if I offended anyone
not formally introducing myself but I really didn't know it was expected
and I am glad people are talking about there feelings here. Thanks.

I can certainly imagine what that must have been like. I was a
long-standing member of the other site, (going on 3 years). During all
that time we have never had a huge influx of new members who already new
each other well. I can imagine to have an event like that happen on
your forum must have been pretty traumatic. Like you say, it would be
like having a bunch of strangers just walk in and take the place over.

I think the people on JSH handled it very well. Although, I don’t read
a lot of threads so I may not have seen problems. I have seen a few
threads asking why everyone can’t get along, but I haven’t really seen
any actual evidence of people not getting along.

I never did post an introduction of myself in the welcome forum. When I
got here there were already two threads devoted to welcoming me in the
General Discussions forum. Those threads were already 3 or 4 pages
long before I even got here. So I just acknowledged that I was here. I
might add that one of those threads was actually started by a JSH member
whom I had never even met prior to that.

Anyway, since I’ve been here I haven’t talked with many members from the
previous site. At least not on the forums. Most of my conversations
with them have taken place via emails. On the forums I’ve pretty much
just been discussing issues with JSH members.

I’m not a real sociably adept person. Most of the members from the
other site know that I live as a hermit in the woods in a very
back-to-basic lifestyle. Just ask Jax about me (Cutelildevilsmom) and
she’ll be glad to explain to you that I’m basically a caveman with the
civility of a Neanderthal.

So I guess I owe everyone here an apology for being rude and crude. But
that’s just who I am.

I offer my apologies anyway.
