Well, I could be wrong... But supposedly, the same Jewish God who had promised Moses and the Jews that there'd be another prophet coming, sent Jesus. Yet the Jews didn't believe that Jesus was the Messiah and so they are still waiting on him. Then, the angel Gabriel appeared to Mohammad and told him that he was the next prophet after Jesus. And that Allah (which is just the Arabic word for God) had decided that he now wants all Jews and Christians to become Muslims. But of course, we still have Jews, Christians, and Muslims. Apparently, God hasn't been real successful at delivering his message!

So to recap, Christians believe in the same God as the Jews (hence; Old Testiment) and the Muslims believe in the same God as the Christians and Jews. Only difference is, the Muslims believe that Jesus was just a prophet, like Mohammad, and not the son of God. Even Jesus, when asked if he was the son of God, replied: "We're ALL children of God."

Anywho, I think it's all a bunch of man made stories and fairy tales.
