I thought that was a nice part of the speech he made when he became President. I also believe he will try to restore America's image by trying to show this is a land that can cooperate with the world, show compassion, resolve major issues through diplomacy, and work with other nations in the efforts to preserve healthy economies, peace, and prosperity. If Congress will work with him is another question all together, yet I know he wants to restore the government into where the people can trust it again..." THAT is what a Christian Nation is All About !!!!!   Once more...a christian nation is about a nation founded on christian principles... which also ALLOWS religious freedom for all !!!!! And that, btw, is what TRUE Christianity is all about anyway !!! It is NOT about lording RELIGION over the people.... as is seen in some of the other nations of the world. RELIGION DOES THAT !!!!!! But christianity is NOT about Religion....... or lording anything over anyone !!! Christianity is ALSO about ALLOWING FREEDOM OF CHOICE... and that SAME PRINCIPLE........of allowing freedom of choice.... (christianity is about allowing people to come to God on their own...cause God DOESN'T want a bunch of ROBOTS)..... is again, the VERY SAME CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLE this country is founded on !!!! I HOPE this CLARIFIES what a True Christian Nation is all about now !!! Being a Christian nation is NOT NOT NOT about RULING over the people with a christian religion!!! And one last time..... christianity isn't even about religion in the first place... as mentioned so many times before !!! Christinaity is about Relationship..... NOT Religion at all !!! No ONE religion is being forced down anyone's throat in this country !!!! Everyone getting this now? ONCE MORE.....The USA is a Nation that is FOUNDED on Christian Principles.... YET, ALSO Allows Religious FREEDOM for ALL !!!!! And THAT is the TRUE SPIRIT BEHIND CHRISTIANITY IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! IT ALLOWS ONE TO COME TO GOD...ON HIS/HER OWN ..... NOTHING FORCED.... SO THEREFORE....NOTHING RELIGIOUS ABOUT CHRISTIANITY AT ALL !!! AND ONE LAST TIME..... THE SAME GOES FOR THE CHRSITIAN PRINCIPLES THIS NATION WAS FOUNDED ON..... In reply to your question.."Is Obama really a Christian", here is the BIBLICAL answer to it.
Scripture tells us, "by their fruits ye shall know them". Now to make that even simpler still, if Barak Obama was to be stood right beside Jesus Christ this second and was to look into the face and eyes of The Son of God, could he do so with a clear conscience, having just signed an executive order, KNOWING 100% in his heart, that that executive order would ultimately result in the deaths of millions of unborn babies. HOW WOULD HE EXPLAIN THAT ONE AWAY TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST??? I will tell you categorically right now what Jesus Christ will say to Barak Obama if he does not repent of that so called executive order.... Jesus will say... "Depart from me ye who work iniquity". Therefore, when I look at Barak Obama and as much as I can, ATTEMPT to line his so called salvation with Gods Word, I can without fear or reservation say, Barak Obama is not a Christian as Jesus Christ Himself would describe someone who is HIS follower and HIS disciple. Jesus Christ will one day JUDGE Barak Obama for his recent "executive order", and as The Judge of the whole earth and THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF HEAVEN and THE WHOLE UNIVERSE, I believe that the words which will come from the mouth of Jesus Christ will be...."Depart from me, I never knew you". How much greater the punishment for the HEAD OF A NATION, who chose to grant women the right to CHOOSE to KILL the unborn child. It is without doubt the "executive order" to grant someone the right to MURDER another human being. God alone has the right to give life and to take away life. Did not HIMSELF command..."THOU SHALT NOT KILL"?? |

If Obama is christian or muslim, he is betraying his faith by supporting abortion.
Personally, I don't really care what his personal religious beliefs are, because Obama's stated political positions are bad for the USA. My best guess is that Obama does not have strongly held beliefs. He may have a belief in God, he might be a christian, but I do not think faith is a central part of his life. Then again, I could be wrong, and he might be much more devout than he appears. |

I don't know if Obama is Christian or not. Cant you focus on how he runs this country?  There are plenty of Christians in prison. I agree  And I am starting to get sick of hearing the word "Christian". I apologize. no need to apoligize

FORCING RULES over this abortion issue, isn't gonna make the sin problem go away...
or any other sin problem in this country, for that matter!!! ONLY GOD IN OUR HEARTS...... WILL CAUSE US TO STOP SINNING AND DOING WRONG .... NOT BEATING PEOPLE OVER THE HEAD WITH A LAW!!! Otherwise, we would just become another "religious" country !!! Only GOD in our hearts,will CHANGE a nation..... not a law!!!!!!!!!!! "IF My People...... Who are Called by My Name...... Should PRAY.... PRAY.....instead of POINTING FINGERS and JUDGING OTHERS..... maybe then the hearts of all people would STOP sinning.... because they would see the LOVE in Us.... If I were to become pregnant and I decided I wanted to join the army, there should be no reason why I could not. It’s my body. I can place my own body in harm's way if I choose to defend my country. That fetus is connected to my body and is dependant upon me for its life.
If I decide to place my life in harms way then I take the fetus along. The same would apply if I was pregnant and risked my own life to save the lives of others in any capacity. |

It’s very down the middle. I think the last Gallup pole on the issue of abortion showed anti-choice having a slight lead like 4% or so. It obviously wasn’t strong enough to keep Obama out.
