Thanks, ladies. It's bad enough that I am breaking one of the ( at least according to what I have read here ) cardinal rules by taking her to a concert on the first date. Of course, we ARE going to be going to dinner before the show....but the whole " walk in the park, nice quiet conversation " thing just isn't me. I am an ' opposite ' kinda guy. So far, she seems to appreciate that. Remains to be seen if she'll continue to appreciate it after next Thursday...lmao justaguy she would not want you to be anything but yourself.Sounds like a great night have fun,carol |

It's ' rule breaking ' because, from what I have seen here, everyone thinks a perfect first date is something like dinner, a walk in the park, quiet conversation, etc etc etc ad nauseum..... Can't really do the whole ' quiet conversation ' at a rock concert....lmao It's a great way to spend time, get a feel for each other's company and not have 'awkward moments' though...so I think it'll be fine. Personally, I'd do a concert for a first date without hesitation so don't even worry about it as a choice! |
