Going to any church, for me would be as horrible as having to watch little house on the prairie all morning.

I wonder if a person started attending services on a regular basis and never made any move to join or tithe or even put anything in the plate if they would be approached and asked to make a commitment or to stop coming.

Another thing I hate about church is singing those church songs.

If I had to do such things I would rather just shoot myself. frustrated

I don't see any advantages in it at all. None.

flowerforyou Its a good way to get to know people of a particular mindset, but yes most of the time it is very boring, and the songs do suck to me as well since I have heard the same stuff a zillion times. It is kind of like watching "Little House On The Praire"laugh If religion is a big deal in the community a person lives in, like it is in certain area of the country it allows you a lot of access to making connection in the community.flowerforyou

Does that mean if you dont go to church those same people in the community will think you are a Satanist?

the Baptist church I mentioned earlier (the one with the tax returns) has grown immensely out here. They are huge and have a large facility out in the desert. Most of us call it "the compound". they definitely believe anyone who is not a part of their particular church is going to hell and we witches are definitely considered Satan worshipers. They are the ones I physically fear out here.

Big difference

between a dead

church, where just religion is just

practiced.....

versus

a LIVE church

( with born again

christians , the Church is

comprised of the body of

believers ,and not just a building

made of wood)....

and where the power and love of God

is moving .....and transforming lives.

How do you know that you are any more alive than say the Catholics down the road? They may have a direct line to Jesus and are keeping it secret.

It seems to me that if you are a practicing Satanist, arent you basically a Christian? I mean you are buying into half of their beliefs. I have no idea what Satanism entails exactly. Ive never been interested in it enough to investigate or read up on it.

If one Believes or

not , no one thinks

anyone is

a satanist ,if they don't go to

church.

I read parts of the Satanic bible once and know a woman who is a Satanist. For me, it was a meaningless existence. They are all about gratifying your every human desire and that's it. That's what life is all about. Indulging in whatever you want to indulge in to feel good. It's just not for me.

If I'm not mistaken, Satanists do not actually worship Satan. I'm not sure about that.

Krimsa...when I

mentioned DEAD churches...

I was not referring to

ALL churches...

in fact , there are MANY LIVE and

LOVING

churches of EVERY

denomination ,and NONdenomination

as well.

When you walk into these LIVE

churches, you are LOVED and

WELCOMED..........because the

Spirit of the Lord is MOVING in

those LIVE churches....not just

some religion.

Nite..Be Blessed Everyone

Well, to the people that practice it it's no joke, but I don't get it at all. If all life was about was satifsying my every urge I would see no point in living.

Personally, the singing part was what I always liked the best. I really enjoy singing and that was the one place I always knew I'd get to do it. But then the long waits in between songs was pretty boring. I have met a few cute girls/women at church over the years though, so that was another good part.

What's wrong with feeling good?

Satanists (Anton Levey's group) don't really worship Satan, in fact they don't even believe in him. They are simply anti-Christian and that is their way of expressing it.

They believe in practicing free will and pursuing happiness.

Again, nothing is wrong with that, that is why they came to fantasy island. (Earth)

They do not practice evil or hurt others except in self defense.

Much like witch craft. bigsmile

(On the other hand the Lucerferian cults are evil and do practice the occult and even human sacrifice. But don't confuse these blood thirsty alien drones with Anton Levey's Satanists.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it, it's just not something that works for me. And, I'm not opposed to feeling good. I quite enjoy it. bigsmile And, I do use witchcraft to improve my own situation and that of others who may ask for my help. But, I don't find any deep meaning to that existence alone. Again, this is just for me. Just like I don't find satisfaction in other religions for the various reasons.
