Just a quick note: The men that Lot offered his daughters to, were only interested in men.... and hence, refused Lots daughters. I am sure Lot was aware of their interest only in men. Aterall, he lived there and knew the people. How convenient for the homophobes of the time to assume these were homosexual men. Things have not changed much have they, it's either the homosexuals fault or those damn troublesome women..... Even an egghead of the time wouldn't offer two girls to a mob of gay men for pete sakes. Even stupid people today would know better than that.. lmao Personally if that was the case I would have handed them the men, they might be far more capable to fighting off their attackers than two women. I mean come on even then homosexuals were around long before, they had to know they wouldn't want two women if this was a homosexual mob. Pure convenience for those homophobic writers and or interpreters of the bible. Did no one have common sense back then? Even to the slightest degree? Answering myself: it wasn't about common sense, it was about what they wanted the then and future generations to swallow hook line and sinker. The same people they disrespected back they they wanted us to disrespect today.. Homosexuals and women!!! Women now have come a long way, but are still not there and homosexuals will be the last if ever to be dignified by christians and other religions, we must do that ourselves. |

Aterall, he lived there and knew the people. Lot would have had no way of knowing this. Why bother to offer his daughters to the mob if it was a waste of time then? Rape is a crime of power and control and the sex act itself has very little to do with it. Also the people of Sodom were never formerly accused of being homosexuals. All it ever states about them as far as this grievous crime against god was that they were "uncharitable and unhospitable" people. |

I tried doing the quote thing like you said for just a partial quote. I am still doing something wrong..Miles Miles you have to take out the spaces. Look here.
