Topic: Gay Marriage should be legal! - part 2 | |
---|---|
God is a personal thing to me. I will not bring it up in any discussion or debate unless it is brought up and then I defend the rights of everyone. Non believers as well..I do not think religion should be brought into politics period and will argue that point till the end...JMO

And they argue the hind leg of a donkey with it. |

I am a firm believer in religion as well! I know God loves me no matter who I love! I hate that politics and religion always seem to be the center of why people are against Gays getting married!!

I agree or when abusing children, the bible is not a bad book and gives many good stories to guide your life, but people use it wrongly and to justify what they wish they find what they want and twist it til it is unrecognizable. Besides Christainity though many other religious books maintain good stories to guide you.

If there was no religion then I dought the gay marrige thing would be an issue at all. |

I like how some christians seems to have the idea that christianity was always around......nope it wasn't, just like every mythology out there it had a start and will have an end at some point
Biggest difference between christianity and the other mythologies/religions is that its one of the first to force others to follow its teachings before that the other religions were too busy warring with themselves to worry about other nations. |

Seakolony,
You have not disrespected anyone, IMO. You are speaking your opinion very well. |

yes well if unmarried partners had the same right as married partners then it probably wouldn't be an issue at all. It would eliminate the problem of the actually why homosexuals fight for it so hard. It is understood that they dont have the availabilty of marriage to fall upon like a heteralsexuals, but if we looked at it as UMP credits then I feel the issue would actually fade to a certain extent.

But we wont the right to get married and have the same rights as heterosexuals do is all! I don't think it is too much to ask! |
