I have been followin this thread and something happened in work today that made me think of it..

I made a bit of a mistake in work today.. Im not religious but out of tradition I celebrate christmas with family.. I was doing an advertisement selling gift certificates. blah blah blah.. anyway.. the headline was.. Still shopping?... I mistakenly only thought of christmas and put a little calendar with Dec. 25th in the Corner.. the Owner is Jewish.. We adjusted it so it is generic and says Still shopping for the holidays....


But I realized when I had done that I just automatically assumed they were refering to christmas...

Yes, there were Christian men among the Founders. Just as Congress removed Thomas Jefferson's words that condemned the practice of slavery in the colonies, they also altered his wording regarding equal rights. His original wording is here

"All men are created equal and independent. From that equal creation they derive rights inherent and inalienable."

Congress changed that phrase, increasing its religious overtones:

"All men are created equal. They are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights."

But we are not governed by the Declaration of Independence-- it is a historical document, not a constitutional one.

I have to beg to differ with you on this....after all....it was after the revolutionary war that this was written, to establish a new beginning, and an ideal way to approach legal matters....

This has little to nothing to do with the reason I posted this thread....actually, I posted this because of the part where it says, "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. "

I think this Gov is going down the sh1thole, and not very many people in this country see this for what it is.....
