Topic: If you're meeting local people | |

I once had a guy send me a mail that said he worked M-F 7-5, worked out from 6-9 and then on the weekends worked out for four hours and did X, Y, and Z. I told him I was tired from reading about his highly regimented and rigid schedule and wished him all the best... That's funny! I can't believe anyone would be too busy to meet you! |

Rainbowtrout, it's kind of hard to tell why she said you were a pervert if you aren't willing to let us know the context you brought it up.

Sing, what a cad. No time to chat? Well, it must be a nice life.... I once had a guy send me a mail that said he worked M-F 7-5, worked out from 6-9 and then on the weekends worked out for four hours and did X, Y, and Z. I told him I was tired from reading about his highly regimented and rigid schedule and wished him all the best... Haha. I probably would have said the same thing. |

and those interested or sole interest is to talk of sex upon chatting - I pass those over rather quickly

I just brought it up in normal letter writing. I can only assume that she must have had a bad affair before. Like some have said on here.

when do you all think it's an appropriate time to talk about sex???
|
|

well, me and Engrave have known each other a long time and just started taking our relationship to the next level, but we haven't started talking about sex outside the flirts on here.
I figure, when we are ready, we will do so. But we will probably already be gettin' physical before we talk about it! then we will just be praising each other before passing out. |

I have to agree with Sing, and like her I am guessing, but it is highly likely that it is the presentation, not the actual subject. (in response to Rainbow)

I tend to be pretty um, assertive. I will make sexual jokes, not raunchy, but just be myself, after at least an hour or so of real conversation (phone or in person)...
But I don't talk about sex until I'm definitely attracted to the person. And comfortable.... |

which is my point, flirting, joking is fine and dandy (so long as both parties are ok with it) but some people want to get into specifics and come off as crude, yet think this behavior is ok.

Sexual jokes are different than talking about sex. Rainbowtrout never confirmed what he was actually saying, though. So, there's no way to tell why someone thought he was a pervert.

Nope. I was marked and branded from that moment on. I must be a pervert from her point of view. Im sensing that you have no understanding of basic etiquette or what would constitute inappropriate behavior in a general social setting. |

You mean like saying he wanted to put his dork in her spork?

It just popped up in my head, I talked about him bringing up his dork before.... so ummm... yeah.

reminded me of the peanut butter and chocolate commercials

You mean like saying he wanted to put his dork in her spork? Wow never heard that before. Nicely done. |
