This is just a guess, maybe the people you are contacting really don't want to date. For me, this is just a place to post in the forums. I am not looking for anything more than friends at this point.

Do you actually read their profile first to get a feel for the person? If so, you may already have some clues as to the infinite number of reasons why someone doesn't respond.

When writing these women, do you somehow indicate that, based on what their profile says, you'd be interested in knowing more? If it's just that she looks hot or something goofy like that, most self-respecting women won't reply.

Everyone wants to feel as though they're being heard and understood. Why would one put any time into writing a profile if they didn't wish to be heard and understood?

If, for example, a woman states in her profile that she's not interested in just hooking up or cyber sex and a guy sends a message suggesting a hook-up or cyber sex... of course she's not gonna reply!

She knows that her words weren't even considered. Why respond when it's obvious that this person doesn't value anyone else's words?

Not that this has been the OP guy's approach... Could be any number of variations.

There is a person on here that if you email them they will make a thread critisizing your email. They do this frequently to every person that emails them That probably hurts their feelings or pisses them off
