To prove God exists you must 1st clarify which God you want to be proven exists. Everyone has different religious beliefs so it's kind of hard to prove a general question.

Rapunzel, people have said that about everything that is challenging to grasp since the begging of time.

People thought Einstein was crazy. They where wrong.

People feel comforted by a blind belief system. Science would never have brought us up out of the dingy existence our ancestors lived in if everyone settled for god did it, and never tried to understand the process any further.

What I would ask myself, is it sad that people are skeptical when this skepticism led to our current technology?

This is true in at least a lesser way of everyone who believes in any afterlife.

If you believe you get a second chance regardless of where you go, you are shrugging off the need to change the now.

Or another understanding could simply be that it is not okay to allow an indoctrination to distance yourself from the here and now and this earth you walk on and feed from. You owe a responsibility to this planet as there is no heaven necessarily to whisk you away from your awareness of mother earth. You might find yourself right back at square one. In fact, no eternal salvation.

Puts the prayin in an entirely different context.

In the study of philosophy it isn't so necessary to distinguish between this view or that view of God (god), but rather that there are 2 views overall. (among others...)

1) The empirical (scientific) view. Generally explains philosophical viewpoints based on scientific fact based on physical evidence, etc.

2) The metaphisical (spiritual) view. Generally explains philosophical viewpoints based on the unexplainable.

As it was explained to me, there are two viewpoints to basic philosophy, an empirical view, and a metaphysical view. (Most) everything is broken down into these two sub categories, howbeit very vast in comtemplative nature.

Perceived reality is often discussed in philosophy. As is the concepts of God/No God. (Regardless of which version of God). Appointments of ethics are discussed, and a variety of many other topics.

Regardless of the discussion, a truth is found in all philosophies...

1) No one can prove that God exists

2) No one can prove that God does NOT exist

And the cognitive mind of humans will spend the next billion or more years arguing both points.

Argument is then the true essence of this post, and the essence of all discussion on god and existence. Humans are inherently curious, the cognitive mind ever reaches for new answers. And the human spirit tends to be inherently stubborn as well, constrantly battling viewpoint against viewpoint until the end of time.

You have heard "to err is human"... (?)

Well I submit this as well...

"To argue is human."

And (I observe...LOL) those who are at work on the company's Internet here are professional arguers, being paid by their employers for time at work on the clock or on salary. Meanwhile, the work they get done exists in the fantasy of argument for the sake of entertainment.

LOL

Hi Rapunzel! waving tongue2

I disagree.

I believe in incarnation (and so does the Bible as it speaks of the incarnation of Christ..)

So Christians also believe in incarnation. They just seem to think that only God can do it.

But I believe that I am "god" made flesh in part, so it naturally follows that I am "god" incarnating, as I believe that all is one and the one is "God."

"Man" is any sentient life form. "Hu" means God. Hu-man is the godman. Humans are god made flesh. They are the gifted ones with the creative spark who have dared to forfeit their memories and incarnate in this world. They have the capability of creating their own realities and the capacity for love and compassion.

Humans:
If you think you can learn all that you need to know in a single lifetime you are mistaken. You don't even know who you are or what you are capable of.

Ahh then spirit must be in the eyes, or on the tip of the noes.

Unless they broke the belly stare to discuss the spirit they are watching and are near sighted and almost def.
