I dont have a concept of Satan. He or it was invented by Christians and is intertwined in their baseline theology. Kind of ironic huh?  The classic picture of the devil is red with horns and a tail. Ironically, Draconian aliens have been described as humanoid creatures with horns and a tail. Some have wings. They come (or have been seen) in three colors. Red, Black, White mostly. These are Draconians. They are galaxy aliens. They dominate the milky way galaxy. These are not the little gray Zeta clones who have been said to be doing abductions. These aliens are not our friend. It would be fair to call them "Satan and his demons." They are ruled by a Queen and are a female dominated society, except for the ones who rebelled. The rebellion was and is a male dominated group. Hence, Satan. You think Satan is a bad boy, well, wait until you meet the Queen. She is ten times worse. JB I did not say that Satan was red and had horns and a tail. I simply said that this is the description of the Draconian Aliens and it seems to me that somewhere along the line, someone saw or met one of these aliens and decided that it must be Satan himself, hence the classic picture of Satan arises in the subconscious matrix. The fallen angels are simply these aliens. Back then, anyone coming from the sky might be misconstrued as "angels" and indeed many were mistook for Gods. Okay so your assertion then is that the bible is wrong in its account of the flood being worldwide? I would agree with that. It’s possible that to these people, it was in fact their entire world so they might have expressed it that way in the bible. Mistakes like that are forgivable. The bible was written by men so has the propensity to be erroneous. I guess that’s a given. It also seems that if god has created everything like the Creationists seem to buy into; couldn’t he have just gotten rid of the earth and started over? Why bother with floods and dragging it out in such a manor. So if we accept your theory which seems plausible that this was only one of many floods in a centralized local, then that sort of dispels all the crazy mysticism and god really had nothing to do with it. It was a natural disaster. |

I thought to interject at length in this thread because I have some definate thoughts on religion and religious philosophy but after the galaxy aliens and other bizarre thoughts that some have stated here, decided, nope. I just can't go there.
I'll just say that I am a scientist at heart and am skeptical of a lot of theories. Just not about the existence of a superior being or beings. I don't read Hebrew and the bible was written by men. Parts were lost and left out to reflect the idealogy of men of the time. We know this now. We also know that the author of the KJV bible was executed by the king for heresy after his compilation. Another was enlisted, they booted that version as well and decided that the first wasn't so bad after all. I believe with all the religions that exist, and have for far longer than Christianity, all one can do is find out all that you can and go with what thier hearts tell them. I mean except those damned Muslims. lol |

The bible doesn't say the flood was worldwide There would have been no reason to build an ark to save the animal kingdom if it was just a local flood. So the very idea that the animal kingdom was being saved is an automatic claim that it was a worldwide flood. I have often argued that the flood fable was indeed sparked by a local flood, and not a global flood. What most likely happened is that some major flood took place. A survivor wrote about the the story (or talked about it). Actually in those days it was mostly like just word of mouth, I seriously doubt that people were writing novels in those days. What happened is that people started claiming that it was indeed a worldwide flood. So then people asked how anyone was able to survive it. Thus the story about Noah and a boat. Then skeptics started probing further asking how the animals survived if the whole world was flooded. The boat then grew to become an Ark that could support the animal kingdom. I imagine the story contined to be refined over many generations before it was finally recorded in written form we have come to know and love.  |

My understanding sharp was that you were trying to assert that the biblical flood of Noah was indeed worldwide. Many Christians have come to that conclusion. If you do not believe this to be the case, fine.
