Invest all the countries available resources into the new available technologies. An effort similar to the Space-race, and the Manhattan Project. A Gov backed program involving our scientist, universities, and private sector corporations to develop efficient renewable clean energy, and move us away from fossil fuel technologies as fast as we can. By combining Nuclear, solar, hydrogen fuel cell tech, etc., 10 yrs ought to do it, and the journey will create millions of good jobs right here at home, as well as restore National Pride and hope!

The way conservatives are attacked and lumped together This is worthy of quoting and responding to. You lumped people together in your first post and now you are doing it again. Yet you complain how conservatives are being lumped together. You are separated not divorced and looking to hook up with other single women? Is that conservative and moral? Do some self-reflection. I bear you no ill-will. I just hate how you are not thinking and trying to impress others with your warped thoughts. The best place for you to find women who are conservative is in the McCain Campaign. Volunteer.

I recently saw a survey that indicated conservatives were happier than liberals.
I think I know why. Conservatives, like sheep enjoy being lead, they like to be told, "we have it right, it's the evil liberals that hate America and are ruining this country." Liberals on the other hand are more likely to question authority and accept the fact that we, as a country, make mistakes. O-k, jump on me for generalization. I can deal with it. haha I agree this thread was made to stir the pot. I just added to it I hope. Bad me! |

How's that for a generalization? I have done just the opposite. I used to be conservative but the older I get the more liberal I get. A lot of the stuff that is called "conservative" sounds like a bunch of hot air to me now. The stuff the Republicans say sounds good until you actually stop and think about it.

How's that for a generalization? I disagree, I think older people become conservative because they lose their motivation to fight the good fight and just accept the status quo. It does not make anything better if we do that. |
