Most of you can't even come up with solid, substantive points in debate because most of it is "Republicans _____________" or "Democrats ____________" You should all learn to grow up and realize that party affiliation does not tell us much. You should also learn that the terms liberals and conservatives are socio-political prisons. Yep, We learned they both suck!!!

With the Dems and pubes split evenly in the country we usually do anyway.
If the younger generation actually vote this time, as their interest indicates, I give Obama an easy victory. I will also give them the credit!!

I will also give them the credit!! The coming generational gap is decidedly much worse than your own. Generations X and Y are for more radicalized, though they are evenly split as their predecessors. Most young Republicans are technically much more libertarian, while the young Democrats are definitely more socialist. There are still the establishment folks, just not as many. It's a grim future for American politics. |

 Where did all the Neo cons that used to be on these threads go? Mirror scared them all off  My guess is they are out having a life? Possibly working? You know..... a job? Taxed to death? You know? We're not talking about who votes for who. We're talking about ideologies as they relate to social and cultural trends, and my earlier statement it shown to factually true via statistics. This is not speculation; it is supported through quantitative research. Read "The Interest Group Society" by Jeffery M. Berry and Clyde Wilcox. Then again, your posts on this board reek of ignorance, so you should probably just blame this whole thing on Bush and get it over with. |
