I've never stayed at a woman's house or had them over to mine on a first date.....that seems unusual to me, but Lil & you H both did that....i guess i'm a bit ol' fashioned because i don't think it usually happens until about 4 dates or so....

I did think it odd he invited me to his house on a first meet, I could've been a crazy stalker for all he knew! He said several times he thought it was "cool" I drove out, so I think he thought the risk was mine. |

Here's my first date etiquette, based solely on previous first dates.... Don't get too comfy in my house... You aren't there yet buddy. Don't take your shoes off and put your smelly feet on me. don't assume that because you've bought me 2 beers I'ma take you home, I'm a professional drinker, two beers just gets me to normal...lol don't smoke pot in the name of Jesus. Don't ask to do coke in my house. don't ask for a second date at the begining of the first one. I'm sure I'll think of more...but I just got up.  Couple of questions (with tongue in cheek) in reguards to this good advice: 1. Is it okay if I smoke pot, but don't do it in a blasphamous tone? 2. What about after six beers? 3. Is it okay to do Coke in the house if I mix it with Jack Daniels, Crown Royal, or maybe some rum? 4. I can understand the shoes thing, but what if I show up barefoot? (I know the odds are pretty slim of that happening, but I could want to take you to a beach) 5. So what is the appropriate time to ask for a second date, when I get you to the car, maybe on the way into the restuarant, before dessert? Not all of us guys are rocket scientist, and I'm sure the ones that are actually need this quantified. There are no dumb questions, just men.  hehehe to answer your questions... 1.) yes 2.)6 is almost there. 3.) Uhm cocaine and alcohol is called a ghetto 8bal, and that's no ok either. 4.) flip flops are acceptable. 5.) after you've paid the bill......

I am not a call 50 times a day person either. I have on occasion asked, so when are you going to take me for a ride on your bike, or where would you like to meet for that cup of coffee. But mostly I just try to say hi and hope you are having a great day, once every couple of days. After about a week or so if they dont respond, its an, Ehhh, their loss. Though I have to admit that I am an occasional Peeper Perv. LOL Due to the fact they look nice in their photos and live way to far from me. A gal can dream. I totally agree. I hope you did not think I in any meant you were a stalker or did not know hoe to appropriately express interest without being too forward! LOL, I didnt think that at all, it was just my long winded way of saying I am like that too! LOL |

We had been online friends for a long time. He had come up from Jersey so when we met at the Crowne Plaza UN .. he wanted to know if he could smoke a joint while waiting on me to get ready ..  |

well I don't consider that story a horror one .. he ended up taking me out to 3 different clubs and spent a boatload of time and $$ on me.
Never even tried to hold my hand altho he told me later that it was the hardest thing he's ever done NOT to try and kiss me .. so ya he was great. |

Ah yes.....I read several in that vein. I do believe there are people who don't watch television or only watch rarely. What I don't like is the "line", the one where you know in your heart of hearts it is just a way to sound cool or that they are somehow better than me because I watch CSI and must be stupid as a result. As long as you get news and information it makes no matter how you get it. Now see .. CSI? I would watch TV for that .. oh ya babyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I talked to a "girl" on here and she was telling me how she went and "hanged out" with a guy she meet from her friends IM and first they went to lunch and he asked her to go to a wedding so he get her a dress she needed one. they went to that then on the 3rd time "hanging out" they went to a food place and played Wii she told him she loved playing that and he went out and got her one they didnt hold hands or even kiss. then he asked to take her out to a baseball game. well he order her 2 t-shirts. they didnt kiss or hold hands and they werent on dates. dude was trying to buy her. but she is pretty much just taking it all she thinks he is ugly.
