I thought the movie was pretty sweet...but so many people's initial reactions to their opinion of the movie, is that heath played an awesome joker. I think he did a great job, but the fact that, that is the first thing out of people's mouths and the fact that he passed away almost creates either a biased opinion of the movie, or the illusion of a biased opinion. Which I think kinda sucks, cuz it makes u think.
but overall... Batman - pretty sweet, at first his batman voice was retarded and killed it, but as soon as he had his normal bruce wayne voice at least, it wasn't so bad and made sense [altho it still was an ugly voice haha] - I liked how they showed his injuries. Two Face - I thought the dude played a sweet two face man. The look of Two face was also really cool. The transformation from good to bad was just awesome. What happens to him later...LAME The Joker - Agreed, he played a pretty dope joker. Some pretty funny parts. I liked when he does his magic disappearing pencil trick in the beginning Alfred - cool pick but man when he was tellin bruce that story about a bandit or somethin I had no idea wtf he was sayin. idk if I just tuned out, or couldn't understand his accent Worth the money |

I really loved this movie, it's just very well done.
My take on Jokers: Jack Nicholson was the best for the type of movie they were doing then. Mark Hamill nailed it in the cartoons, and had better writers than Nicholson. Heath Ledger brought the Joker from "The Last Laugh" to the big screen in a way that had never been done before. I never saw Heath Ledger there, I just saw the Joker. On Gordon's wife being named Barbara: just because her name is Barbara doesn't preclude Gordon having a niece named Barbara. I didn't like killing Two-Face that quickly. He was always good for a mob level type caper. I didn't like the Batman Voice, but understood the reason for it, he just needs to work on it more. I liked the little things: How Batman dropped the mobster, not to kill him but to hurt him. You can only kill him once. Maiming can be done again if needed. Every time the Joker explained his scars, the story was different. It never occurred to me that Rachel was extraneous (maybe even detrimental) until Batman showed up to rescue Harvey. Showing the Scarecrow is around, even if he's not a real threat at this time. |

I know about the S.H.E.I.L.D. movie, that is what Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Captain America, and Thor movies are leading up too I'm pretty sure you mean the Avengers movie. That's what Marvel's analog to the Justice League is called. They are most certainly going to have strong ties to S.H.E.I.L.D., at least at first, though. I loved Iron Man, and really enjoy how Marvel's tying their movies together. Hope it works for them. |

Yeah, I like what Marvels doing too: they put their own production company together and they are presenting their comics how they are meant to be done!
They actually saved the Hulk from the last Hollywoodization butchering of a movie: I just hope they save the Silver Surfer from Hollywood... |
