I live right next to a base, literally. I see soldiers EVERY DAY, and that's not including my neighbors!
I always make a point to walk up to them, shake their hands and say thank you. So did/does my daughter. (I don't know if her father will continue the practice over there in Israel. He's kinda heartless like that.) Praying for all the troops, both present past and future. (A few of my friends got deployed this month).

I am thankful that a good soldier friend
of mine recently made it back from the war
This is only a short break for him,
and he will have to go back soon...
but i just wanted to thank you Lord today,
for keeping Brigade safe,
& i pray for your blessings and love
to be abundantly upon him and his family

Got a few buddies being deployed soon, had quite a few buddies come home last night! Sad and happy.... I wish my arms were big enough to hug you all. I wish my home was large enough to feed you all. I wish that I had the power to bring you all home. But for now, please accept my love and undying patriotism for you. I am proud of you all and I am so thankful for your determination and sacrifice! Many kisses! |
