Freedom
I love the Nation that I call home, with millions shared, yet its my own. In splendid liberty we live, we work, we play, we laugh, we give. With freedom to fail and freedom to try, America's founders allowed us to fly! Success unseen through all history, a result of courage and humility. Lives and fortunes, sacred honor, too. They believed in the cause and held true blue. Inspired with wisdom from God above, what they built insured freedoms unheard of. Down through the years this country has seen countless numbers who've believed in America's dream. They left the comforts of hearth and home, and for freedom's cause this world did roam. In combat they stood on the battle field and loyally proved freedom would not yield. They dutifully did what had to be done, understanding that freedom was the prize to be won. With a firm reliance on God above and for this country, tremendous love. Service, commitment, sacrifice, too- they gave it all for me and you. How blessed we are as Americans! And we don't even know how lucky we've been To live in peace and prosperity, in the home of the brave and the land of the free. What will we do with the freedoms they've wrought? Will we make a difference with what we've been taught? These precious liberties we hold cannot endure unless we are bold!
