So I happen to be very opinionated, forthright and not afraid of conflict. When I strongly believe in something I defend it as is my right and duty to do so...why does that translate in other people as me being angry?? Does this happen to you? Do you think it happens more to women than men, since women generally are assumed to be passive and non-confrontational??? This place is starting to give me a complex.... FYI...original post...

happens to me too cause im blunt.... i just let it go on by.... if someone misunderstood me i let them know and i really am sorry if they took it wrong... but facts are we are all different and all take things differently and even try to say the same thing but in different words and no one understands them the same way....

Didn't we beat this one to death today? It provides so much more for thought and discussion than the dozens of boobie threads, or "hi" threads or "what's your favorite who gives a crap?" threads.. at least this one gives us something to talk about. Strong women are maligned there is no question. We are told to tone it down, femme it up, keep it quiet, ad infinitum. And if we chose to ignore the advice and be ourselves, we are told that we are hostile and angry ,when in fact, we are nothing of the kind. I could talk about this all day.

when I find something worth my time to state my opinion.I do. if no reason to I wont,it keeps people assuming things,and when people assume its most always wrong.
