((((((Morning Song)))))
I find great humor in the world around me. I see what happens to people when they grow up. Life is too short to be so serious. When I die I envision myself taking a walk on the lake with Jesus, smoking fine cigars and sharing jokes about Bill Clinton. |

Good Morning everyone......
((((((Britty))))) (((((((MS)))))))) ((((star_tin))))))) I am all about the laughter and the lighter side of life. I know at least for me...That it takes way more muscle to frown then to smile....I give all the credit of no wrinkles to never frowning....and if I feel a frown coming on.......I leave the situation...gigglesnort. I look forward to getting to know the star_tin-meister better....bring on the laughter...... I might even have to post some funny religious humor.....yea we can laugh God Bless Debbie |

I'll bet you say that to all the cows sporting earrings and smoking a heater. Have not you heard that smoking heaters leads to bigger badder smoking habits....I am now putting the coffeehouse fridge under guard.. |

Dedicated to all the new people......Welcome to the Coffeehouse.
Where is God? A couple had two little boys, ages 8 and 10, who were excessively mischievous. They were always getting into trouble and their parents knew that, if any mischief occurred in their town, their sons were probably involved. They boys' mother heard that a clergyman in town had been successful in disciplining children, so she asked if he would speak with her boys. The clergyman agreed, but asked to see them individually. So the mother sent her 8-year-old first, in the morning, with the older boy to see the clergyman in the afternoon. The clergyman, a huge man with a booming voice, sat the younger boy down and asked him sternly, "Where is God?". They boy's mouth dropped open, but he made no response, sitting there with his mouth hanging open, wide-eyed. So the clergyman repeated the question in an even sterner tone, "Where is God!!?" Again the boy made no attempt to answer. So the clergyman raised his voice even more and shook his finger in the boy's face and bellowed, "WHERE IS GOD!?" The boy screamed and bolted from the room, ran directly home and dove into his closet, slamming the door behind him. When his older brother found him in the closet, he asked, "What happened?" The younger brother, gasping for breath, replied, "We are in BIG trouble this time, dude. God is missing - and they think WE did it!" |

I'm sorry to break the 'heavenly' ideal but I'm a bit confused. Yesterday was memorial day and there were several comments about people having a wonderful and joyous day off, but no comments about reflecting of what memorial day is.
There was, at the very least, a soldiers prayer, with at least one resounding amen. Then of course there was what happened right here in the community - a war - an armed conflict the weapons of which were hateful, aweful, lie-filled WORDS. But in this little piece of heaven nothing happened here at all yesterday. My question is this - to all those here, and all those who HAVE been her and took part in that war yesterday, who took part in the 'JOY' of an extra day off - IS THIS HOW YOU ARE IN THE REAL WORLD? IS THIS HOW YOU VIEW THE CONFLICT THAT OUR CHILDREN HAVE GONE OFF TO - NEVER TO BE THE SAME AGAIN? Just curious! PS - I'm not debating, I'm not going to argue - my purpose, in this post was to make you think, just like so many posts you all made in this thread. But I don't see the good that has come from all the thoughts this thread was supposed to provoke. |

All I heard all day was how drunk people were getting and or were going to get. Shame how this holiday of salute to the death and heroes of our country became a party of bad behavior. Now I do know there were celebrations everywhere to the breathren forces. When exactly did it become a drunk fest? Is that how we celebrate freedom? Freedom??? Kat |

Kat Well yes Kat you are correct but frowning and such put them there in the first place.....so no frowning no wrinkles then when you smile wrinkle free... Also big part is genetics......My mom passed at 51 and no wrinkles..... |

I received an invitation from Star_ Tin_Gover to stop by... so here i am for a little while for now.... I am in the middle of writing a eulogy for my awesome WWII paratrooper Uncle Russ Bache' who passed away two nights ago .... Please include His Family & Loved ones in your daily prayers & love offerings thank you ..... Lady Nessa Vanessa....Weeping with you in your time of sorrow and loss.... but also rejoicing that your Uncle Russ is walking with Jesus now.... probably in a beautiful garden up there in heaven..and is smiling and so very happy .... ((((Vanessa))))) {{{ <<< Shea >>> }}} thank you so much I finally finished the tribute for Uncle Russ & everyone was pleased with the way it turned out ... His Wife also! She said it is just absolutely beautiful!!! Russ was my favorite <Greeter> at the church we attend the scripture that always reminds me of him is... Psalms 84 : verse 10 "For a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the House of my God, Than dwell in the tents of wickedness." Prayers are being sent for you today also, Morning Song & for the pain & loss you are suffering as well. thank you so much for your love and kindness |
