Abra has shared his beliefs. And he has every right to express his opinions in any forum any time he wants about Christianity. He calls it like he sees it, a fraud and a lie. He has evidence to back it up. No one wants to discuss that. They just want to jump into a defensive posture and accuse him of bashing them personally. He does not do that. He speaks to the lie he sees. Again, if Christians want to share their joy and preach and save souls and gain converts in a public forum they have to expect some resistance of this sort from people who do not believe and who feel that you are teaching and preaching a lie. If you want to preach, then start a church. If you want to share with no opposition, stick to a strictly Christian forum where you will find the support you want. But don't think you can intimidate the opposition with your ranting. Geeeeeezzzze. !!! JB You are so wise, JB. I bow to you.

You must have missed the post a few minutes back, where I mentioned my best friend is a Christian. Several of my other close friends are, as well. To assert that I "view all Christians in the same negative tense" is absurd and demonstrably untrue. If it helps you to ignore the parts of my posts that don't agree with your assertions, feel free to do so. If it helps you to take things I wrote and interpret them in ways which are clearly contradictory to what I actually said, that's OK, too. I am seeing the same thing, Lex. Apparently I have meant a lot of things that I have not actually said. I have been accused of "bashing beliefs" but not one iota of evidence has been produced, despite my repeated requests. If someone felt "bashed", I would have liked to know what it was I said that made them feel that way so that I could apologize. I wait still. There is no evidence because I challenged no one's beliefs. As I said elsewhere, if you slap my face and I take issue with that, will you say I am bashing your beliefs? That is how it feels to me. Apparently intellignent discourse is not welcome here. I would say that I have never called anyone a name on here ever. The only thing is it is hard to remember everything. I know when I read Abra's post's he sticks to facts also.
I have been called names many times by the opposition. I guess I was raised diffrent then that. I think I have an obligation to myself not to get so upset that I would go off like that. I have no idea where you get the notion that you have been wronged. What are people that do not believe in your religion supposed to say? |

We're supposed to sit in the corner and shut-up unless spoken to. And then we must only give the appropreate answers or we will be sent to our rooms with no dinner.  God only likes those children who bow down to authority. If you can't do that, then go to your room and cry because no one likes you, not even God!  But he still loves you though, and don't you EVER forget it!!!! NO GO TO YOU ROOM!!!!

If I have done something similar, it's just because everybody deserves respect, so If a christian or nonchristian is going to make a thread, and whatever comment on either side is going to be ridicule, well It's not fair for either side. So as far as I (TLW) am concern, you and any nonbeliever is welcome to debate in a serious and honest manner. However, if there is initial disrespect from the other party well, sadly to recognize, I will react. Believe me I try to control myself, but sometimes I'm so weak. TLW |

The things we say are said in a serious and honest manner. You question the honesty of it because you cannot believe anyone could think like we do about your God and your Book. However we are here saying these things in trying to win a debate. We are not going to bow down to your God just because you have so much love for him. I am happy that he brings you peace but it will not be coming through us. |

LonelyWalker, I have never suggested that we divide the threads into Christian or non Christian. We, (mostly Abracadabra,) has been told to "start his own threads" and to "get out" and "stay out" of Christian threads. This division was started by Wouldee and supported and repeated by Morningsong. This is not going to happen. Gee what would be the fun in that?????  JB |
