The Evangelicals have been corrupted by politics. They get weirder every year if you ask me. I live among and grew up an Evangelical and you wouldnt believe the bizarre garbage that their politician/ministers have got these people believing. Im afraid of whats gonna happen in a few more years with the wacko bunch of leaders they got.

As much as I dislike militant evangelicals, I'm not reading anything from MSNBC.

Let me tell you hiker, UNLESS you follow people like Dr. Dobson, Charles Colson, Billy Graham and Franklin Graham, Charles Stanley, Pat Robertson, I suggest you post another type of thread.

ALL of the above have been soooooooooooooooooo badly misquoted, taken out of context and DELIBERATELY lied about. I KNOW, I follow them.

MSNBC - OMG talk about a twist n turn media.

Listen to Dr. James Dobson's radio program, go to his website and read EVEYTHING there. THEN you might be able to very lightly discuss the issue of evangelicals/protestant christians.

I wish everyone could branch out away from politics,
The rep. dem. 'Sides' only keep people seperated and fighting.
Like their favorite sports team.
'My side is better than ur side'
'No my side is the right one, ur stupid!'
And few care that thay ALL are using us the same way.
Religon, guns, cars, food,even sex are used 2 turn us against our neighbors, people will vote for a party if thay promise 2 make someone else stop doing something OR start doing something that isnt really anyones business.

It has always been that way in the US.
The thing that makes us different from everyone else is that we always unite as one against outside interference in our internal affairs.
Europeans have been fighting each other and redrawing their borders for generations. The longest they have had peace is the time since WWII, and America's presence is the only reason that has happened!

Our constant bickering and such is what keeps the peace. If you start enforcing rules and oppressing certain groups then we will see armed conflict as well.
Which way would you prefer?
Arguing our differences openly or violent bloodshed?

The rank and file Evangelicals are good but misguided people. The leaders like James Dobson, Pat Robertson, and Rod Parsley are demonic beasts. I hate James Dobson and with all my heart. The people in my town follow him like some kind of god. I hope he suffers a horrible death. I hope everyone near him does as well. He is lower than a dog to me Rod Parsley needs his magic sword shoved up his rectum too. The false prophet Pat Robertson will be dead soon and Ill be happy as he roasts in hell with his boyfriend Jerry Fallwell Thats how I feel

Is Rod Parsley still selling magic swords? I would like to buy one of his swords of annointment and use it on his neck

I seem to remember an interview many years ago when the preacher(?) (Oral Roberts if I remember correctly) was asked if it bothered him at all that some old lady would send him her last $50 and do without the rest of the month. His reply was that if it made her feel better to do it then who was he to stop her. God was a product to be sold like any other product.

Amen, Lindyy! The only thing saving America from complete collapse is God's forbearance. You better thank your lucky stars that our nation has the annointment and the favor of God.

Columbine, school shootings, killings, crime. The only reason it doesn't go totally out of control is God's hand on us. If God withdrew his protection from us, there would be total chaos and disaster, mark well my words.

I'm no great fan of MSNBC. I think they're grinding their own axe and distort the news from a liberal agenda and a liberal viewpoint that is not favorable toward God and the message the evangelicals provide.

As for me and my house, we will worship the Lord and vote conservative. It's the way to maintain the liberty that has made this nation great the last 200 years or so.
