Buddha's totally cool with me. He talked about the coming of Jesus. That's an extremely controversial topic. First off, Buddha said that the Metteyya will only arise when there is no memory of his own teachings left in the World. This obviously excludes Jesus as being the Metteyya of which he was prophesizing. Buddha's true teachings were lost to time, because his apostles tried to change his teachings to control the masses. Therefore, I beleive Buddha existed, but I reject everything written about him or taught by Buddists, except those things that I agree with. If Abra can do it, to Christianity, I can do it to Buddism. Also, I don't believe the first paragraph I just posted.

I already did respond to your erroneous accusations by explaining how many people throughout history followed other people not the least of which was Charles Manson!!! You claim that I ran from your hard (and erroneously accusing) questions, but I blew them completely out of the water whilst you obviously weren’t even paying attention. Once the Bible is recognized to be a religion based on demagoguery everything becomes perfectly clear. You’re just blinded by a belief that it’s all the perfect verbatim word of God. You are a joke. We have hundreds of thousands of pages of documents (not just the Bible) that describe the beliefs of early Christians. There is nothing different in those beliefs from then to today. Well, then I guess I made the correct choice to not bring any children into this inherently evil world then.  I really don’t care what this ruthless God might do to me. At least I didn’t provide him with any other souls to shoot craps with. As I’ve stated many times, even if this picture of a God is true, I would decline its offer to spend eternal life with it. I’ll gladly and freely choose death whether I've earned that privilege or not. If I’m not already a sinner I’ll gladly do something wrong just to earn the right to die. I just hope it can be something trivial that doesn’t require violence or harming another person. Maybe I can just masturbate and that’ll be enough to buy my right to die.  I hope you enjoy your everlasting servitude to this bloodthirsty God.  It’s really sad that God didn’t turn out to be genuinely all-loving like the pantheistic picture. I was really hoping that God was truly perfect and not grossly demented like the biblical picture suggests. But if you think that any attempts to discredit that picture are baffoonish then I guess it’s hopeless. It’s not really a big deal for me. Death is actually quite inviting in the face of that picture. It just means that all the atheists are right (at least with respect to their own destiny). All I have to do is refuse to accept Christ as my “Savior” and I’ll be saved from that horrid nightmare. Seems simple enough. Only the pantheists lose. The beautiful picture of a perfect all-loving God they had imagine bites the dust.  Maybe there's another universe somewhere with a perfect pantheistic God that truly has unconditional love to offer and I could put in for a transfer to that univiverse.  Hell's bells, I might even be inclined to have kids in that universe.  |

Hi Abracadabra, No, two of my majors were Religious History, and Cultural Studies, so I loved getting to know all the different ways people worshiped, and lived. I was fortunate enough to go to the places I studied about because of touring with "Rock Stars", so you probably are labeling me just a little, but that's OK. I'm not trying to label anyone. You seem to have missed the whole point here. All I'm saying that it is untrue that "One Solitary Life" had such a great impact on all of humanity. The point is that it's a 'proselytizing' technique to try to brainwash people into believing that someone was so unique that they just had to have been divine. But the bottom line is that it's a lie. His popularity was not do to his life alone. His popularity is due to the fact that he's associated with a very ancient and complex religion. That all I'm saying. I'm not even making any claims concerning whether or not he was divine. I'm just point out that the to claim that he was so unique in his impact on humanity is a falsity. It doesn't even come down to a matter of belief. It’s just a fact that without the rest of the dogma Jesus would have no clout at all. He wouldn’t have been able to offer everlasting life, and it couldn’t be claimed that he died for the sins of man. All of that requires a believe in a complete and complex religious dogma that preceded him. He does not stand on his own. That’s a valid point and I’m sticking to it. I just don’t understand why people have to use underhanded ‘proselytizing’ techniques that are basically lies just to try to convince people that he was special. All I’m asking is, “What’s wrong with sticking with the truth?” From my point of view this is nothing more than a brainwashing scheme to try to get people to think that something unexplainable or out of the ordinary is associated with the man named Jesus when in fact, it’s not true. Why tell lies for the sake of spreading a religion? Seems like a legitimate question to me. No one is lying.... BUT there IS someone who IS lying......and it is the father of ALL lies..Satan himself......and he is lying to YOU, Abra!!! And THAT is why you are so very confused, Abra..and the devil is having a heyday with you. But the devil just lost you. That’s the least important thing in the universe. Keep pushing the Bible as the only word of God and your children will experience a world-wide religious holocaust with real bombs and real bloodshed. Is that what you want? This is what your religious fanaticism is bringing to a head. And it doesn’t even involve pantheists like me. It will be caused by a clash of the major three middle-eastern based religions, - Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. One big religion that fell into parts and is now at each other’s throats. I don’t care whether you people believe in pantheism or not. That’s totally irrelevant. When you spark the greatest war on earth you’ll destroy many people who are not of your faith.
