I agree, If they come just like our forefathers and go through the system thats cool. After all, we are a nation of mutts. But as said earlier, I have a problem with overburdening of our school, health and welfare systems at our expense. Just me. Sexxyandsingle.....congratulations....and Welcome. Your forefathers had no system except to take and move out those who were here. Perhaps it is simply history repeating itself.

i dont think they should be able to stay illegally!!! If they get green cards so be it!!!! They come here and dont have to pay taxes on money we could have earned!!!! Its not right!!! most of my friends are here illegally, and i have to say they do pay taxes. granted, it may not be the proper amount, but they do pay taxes. i have seen their paystubs! and the thing is, they cant claim it at the end of the year like we can. i see both sides of the story and am not fighting one way or the other. if our country was poor, im sure we would do our best to try and make a better life for our families also. and if we didnt have the money to do it legally, then i am sure we would cross borders illegally just like they do in order to feed our children. You realize that their country would rather their poor cross the border than spend money to better the situation. The rich stay rich if they ship all the poor to us.

I just want honest forward answers please. The statement that you made here is not a prejudiced statement. Illegal is illegal. That means that they are here illegally and shouldn't be here - no matter what country they are from. so please tell me which one I made there is. If there was anything wrong with it, the mods would have deleted it. So please post it here so it can be judged for what it is

Mine got shot down too! Guess we can't really give straight forward answers! Anyway, I'm not a supporter of illegal immigration. gotta love it when that happens.. funny when you can almost feel the words erasing as you type them.. never said you were wrong just fixing the facts

allow me to try again... if it disapears again i will not try anymore. we have laws for a reason.. legal ways into the us... please.. USE THEM!! the legal and national language of our nation is ENGLISH.. please.. SPEAK IT!! the pledge of aligence says "one nation under god" i dont care if you beleve in god or not.. our forefathers wrote that for a reason.. lets not change it... please.. JUST SAY IT!!! again this is jmo.. but i like our country the way it is... where i grew up at least... well izzie under god was added in the fifties and the united states does not have a national language (but it should) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States#Language yes it is our naional launguage according to the encyclopedia anyway..

i believe the laws should be upheld and im tired of seeing political speeches that dont include all the crimes commited by illegals.they want to stop the ice raids but wont mention the illegal who was a gang member who killed an innocent kid.they wont mention the overburdened hospitals with medical care given to illegals. the mexican president comes over here to fight for the rights of the citizens of mexico but theres no fight for the rights of americans to own peroperty in mexico or to provide a safe enviroment for american tourists. we need to have a good relationship between our countries but as far as i know theres a border and we recognize it for a reason.let our government enforce our laws and send the message that coming here illegally doesnt pay in the long run.you will be deported .
