The immigration laws are on the books for a reason and I believe the laws should be followed. Our current overwhelmed issue is due to people here hiring illegals. It is illegal to do so so we should lay the blame where it belongs, on us for hiring them. It is advantageous for the employers to hire someone they do not have to pay taxes on nor get insurance for plus being able to pay them whatever they want. It is a new slave labor force and these employers should be stopped. Bringing people to a country where they have no legal rights and exploiting them should be considered a serious crime. We have to go to the source of the problem first before we can address the other problems. Hiring them is what brings them here. All of the other problems with the brunt to social programs, mostly private, is the symtom to the original problem that we hire them, the problems with criminal activity is due to the original problem that we hire them, etc... It all comes down to the slave labor force being utilized here. Whatever else needs to be done, whether it be make them legal so they can be participating part of the system here plus giving them the rights of all humans here or making them suffer a punishment time frame or fines and then making them legal, whatever besides nazi style roundups of humans in this country then we need to do it posthaste and be done. But if we do not stop the hiring force that makes them come here it will all be for not. Punishment can be whatever it needs to be, if they are good hardworking folks, I see no problem at all with making them suffer a punishment period and legalizing them after that. I don't believe the punishment for us hiring them here should be so harsh on them, do you? They are already here and if they are working and abiding by all the other laws of the land they are a good addition to our country and I am proud to have them here. |

Let's try it this way. Who knows someone that employs illegals and remains complacent about it? I know one. He's been reported & somehow all the illegals dissapear when immigrations shows up. He uses them to do his dirty work & they hide his dirty laundry, so he hides them. He OWNS a small town near here. The workers rent his houses, buy in his store, & the borrow money from him which keeps them indebted to him. He is trying to get a grant for a low income housing project now.  He passed out questionares about it when I was working for him. I told my manager he should be ashamed to admit he does not pay enough for his employees to afford decent housing. I quit because he started using a biometric timeclock to try to appease immagrations, but of course CERTIAN EMPLOYEES DID NOT HAVE TO PUNCH IN ON IT! |

I have baled hay, cooked & packaged cheese side by side with immigrants & although none of them ever told me they were illegal they all told me of others that were. Every once in a while someone would dissapear & I would ask where they were. Once I was told "oh he got caught on purpose so he could go home & see his family, but he will be back" it was explained to me that they can get a ride back into the states after they get A FREE BUS RIDE HOME by getting caught. |

I report them all the time, but considering the employers local political contributions nothing is ever done. Then the bleeding hearts take up the cause and scream racism. Ive worked with illegals dragoness and they dont work that hard. They are just cheap labor, and they dont complain because they are afraid of being turned in, the quality of their work is very shoddy as well. Make them legal and they become Americanized like their anchor babies. They then expect equal pay, which causes more illegals to be recruited. If you gave me one day and 20 men, I could change the cultural landscape here, Just by visiting the flea markets, and the health department.
