Well for a God who abandons his people and plays hide and seek all the time I’m not surprised that no one was repenting. It’s pretty hard to repent to a God who isn’t even there.

Why should anyone believe in a God who doesn’t even have the decency to reveal himself?

This is the God who never answers prayers, and who fails to keep his promise that he’ll reveal himself to those who ask him into his heart. He clearly doesn’t do these things so he doesn’t keep his promises.

Why should anyone believe he even exists at all? How can you repent to a nonexistent God?

If this God wants something from me all he has to do is ask. It’s that simple.

In the meantime all I hear is a bunch of unsubstantiated poppycock coming from humans who quite often disagree with each other on the details. MorningSong claims that the Bible is useless to a non believer because it will just appear as foolishness.

All God needs to do is make himself known. Until then, he’s playing hide and seek with himself because I’m not even aware that the game is going on. It just appears to me to be manmade mythology. I have absolutely no reason whatsoever to believe otherwise.

Surely my creator wouldn’t want me to believe in manmade mythology. That would be an insult to the real living God.

You people are trying to convince me to become idol worshipers and worship a myth. Shame on you!

I get a kick out of some people who talk about introducing me to Jesus like they know him personally ... in the flesh.

I ask them if he goes to their church ~~ and if they say yes, I ask them if he still wears those robes or does he dress in a business suit.

Miles.. there are christians who are saved.....but are still Bound up in the letter of the law.

God's Word Frees us, not enslaves us to the law again.......

Truth is.....A Freed heart GLADLY obeys God's Word..not because he is being beaten over the head with the letter of the law..but simply, a child of God now believes and obeys God's Word, out of LOVE for God.

And the 144,000 is speaking ONLY of the people who will be saved during that particular time....some people misunderstand this to mean ALL people.

But what is most important is that one is saved..so therefore, I won't argue doctrinal differences .

I use my free will to believe that God is much better than the biblical picture.

If I’m wrong and God is inferior to how I believe than so be it. He should at least be pleased that I thought he was better than that.

Why would I want to choose to believe that God is inferior to how I already believe him to be?

Nothing could be greater than the God of pantheism. Nothing. It’s the perfect picture.

Don’t you think God should be perfect?

The Biblical picture of God is far from perfect. It’s a picture of a God who made a real mess of creation and had to drown almost all his human pets at one point and start all over again. It’s a real blunder of a job at creation. The pantheistic picture of God is perfection.

So I choose to believe that God is perfect. If I’m wrong and God is flawed, then so be it. I was wrong.

Clearly we are left to play guessing games in either case. Why not guess that God is perfect and hope for the best? Why pick a messy blood and guts picture of God that full of contradictions, failure and violence?

You have the free will to chose a much better picture of God. Why not use your free will to compliment God instead of using it to choose a picture that degrades him?

In fact......God will meet you right where you are.

And if you want to, Abra.....You can ask God to reveal the whole truth to you ...and to make clear the parts that don't make sense.

i am sick of so many people on here trying to save or telling others who do not believe they are wrong. I suggest you sit down and take a good hard look at what you believe and then compare it to yahshua's life instead of some book some Dr. wrote or preacher or the 20 minute sermon you hear before they give you the collection plate.the time is near and u better listen who claims they are saved you are not if you do not practice and teach Yahshua's way of life.
